I am watching Kdramas, from Greece.... although I have enjoyed many, many k dramas in the last four years... Im beginning to feel that they are all becoming quite similar. I end up feeling a little disappointed when starting a new drama, as the saaaaame concepts have appeared in many other dramas!! Im tired of seeing the lead couple finding out that they once met when they were children, that they were each others first love, that one or if not both, were ORPAHANED, and that the male lead will always hold an umbrella for the lead female in the rain, or he would appear out of nowhere to catch her in his arms as she slow motioned falls or faints....and seeing a couple walk soooo slowly down a city street with no other people around.... Without sounding like an a**hole, Im just finding Kdramas lately becoming stale. Can anyone recommend me Dramas that deal with REAL issues, like Our Blues, My Mister and My Liberation Notes? These dramas dealt with REALITY!! Again, I love Korean culture and movies, but the latest dramas all seem to feel the same, but new characters!

begins youth is based off of bts' bu storyline that was prominent during the most beautiful moments (hyyh) era- love yourself tear era. i've heard nothing but great things about the acting and storyline. the dad from the glory and other veteran actors are in it. i wish you summarized it better and shared more details about the rookie actors and big names like you did for the other dramas.

The Atypical Family is one of the worst KDramas. I have seen so many of them but this is really most disappoitning. Bad direction and story. Like who asks a girl to move in right away after meeting her once or twice, esp when u know your family has special powers and there are precious items stacked in the house without a lock. She has so many red flags, but they dont decide to still move her out. The story falls flat after the second episdoe, it just gets boring, boring and more boring. I think this is the first Kdrama I bailed out in-between, it was so bad.

There is more then normal that I plan to watch :) plan to watch - The midnight romance and Hagwon, Dare to love me, Although I'm not a hero (Atypical family), Frankly Speaking, Begins Youth, Resident Playbook, Maybe - Connection, Crash, the brave Yong soo jung, not very powerful but attractive, Probably not - Uncle Samsik, the 8 show, Bittersweet Hell Reading other comments about people getting tired of the same story line, I agree with others try watching another gene (type of show), or try a cdrama, Jdrama, tdrama there are so many different drama's you can try. I know everyone keeps says cdrama, I have watched a few and some I have really loved, but I think the same thing happens if you watch the same gene it will also seem like the same story line or have the same kind of scenes. It all depends on the drama your watching it may have the same scenes example someone about to fall and someone catches them, the piggyback ride, the white truck of doom, walking in the rain sharing an umbrella. They may include the same scenes, to me what makes the difference is how vested am I in the drama? Am I enjoying it? Does it make me want to watch the next episode and find out how the drama ends, do I like the characters, etc. If I don't I move on to something else. I try to keep a balance of watching different things :)

K Dramas seem to have gone done in quality, Where are my Business Proposal, It's Ok Not To Be Ok, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Hotel Del Luna, My Name, Vincenzo, 25-21, ETC they were great. THIS IS ALL SHIT Lately. Queen of Tears SUCKED, It could have been great. Castaway Diva OMG was so bad and I Love Eun Bin Park. Loved her in The Kings Affection and Attorney Woo. You get the point. I am trying to watch EVE on Viki, Have tv crush on Seo Ye Ji. But just cant.
