FILM DESCRIPTION:
On Sept. 11, 2012, Islamic militants attack the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, killing Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and Sean Smith, an officer for the Foreign Service. Stationed less than one mile away are members (James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Max Martini) of the Annex Security Team, former soldiers assigned to protect operatives and diplomats in the city. As the assault rages on, the six men engage the combatants in a fierce firefight to save the lives of the remaining Americans.

@@dison4linux I can answer to some certainty, I served in my country's armed forces and for tracer rounds we usually load them 1 every four rounds, not every single one, so it shouldnt be so many. And muzzle flash ain't that bright and consistent, it is actually pretty tough to spot muzzle flashes, especially if you have flash suppressor on them.

@@dison4linux Tracers are usually loaded every few rounds, in machineguns, but riflemen tend to load a tracer, a few rounds from the end of a magazine, so you know when you're about to go empty. A rifle's mobility, firing rate and capacity tend to make tracers useless for registering targets, the way they do with a machinegun that puts out continuous fire, from a fixed position.

@G L.C I know benghazi is in Libya. This event is a true story, took place on September 11 to 12 of 2012. Those terrorists weren't fighting for their country (Libya). They were fighting for power and control, not really fighting for Libya.

@G L.C urrh those are CIA, not mecernaries. And CIA, they are doing intelligence collection and other security stuff. And they also are tasked with providing security for the ambassador. If u didn't know, there are 2 compounds, 1 is the annex, which is the CIA facility, the other 1 is a diplomatic compound where the ambassador stays. The CIA also helped support the 17 Feb, amid the crisis going on in Libya. If the US is really fighting for control then they would have more CIA personnel and facilities there.

There's a lot of machine guns that look that way when fired, with tracer rounds being seen in the air. The thing to remember is that usually for every tracer there are 5 or more non-tracer rounds fired

I like that they are avoiding incoming fire. It's much more realistic than just sitting there blasting away regardless, although I do wish films would depict RPG7 fire more accurately. I love "what are you doing? No, don't do that", it shows they'd like to get through the night without killing anyone, but they've no choice.

I always find it funny when the RPG is depicted in movies like a grenade launcher or inaccurate. The RPG-7 is one of the most accurate non locking shoulder fired rocket launchers in use today. When used outside it's accurate range it will deviate like any other shoulder fired rocket but those guys in the video were way within it's accurate range. The RPG-7 also has one of the fasted moving warheads due to its external propellant tube. The speed of the standard og-7v fragmentation rocket is 294m/s compared to the AT4s 290m/s. You wouldn't see it floating onto target. In comparison the AT4 has an accurate range of 300m to the RPGs 330m. Also the RPG-7 warheads have a inertia safety. The warhead won't arm until the rocket reaches a certain velocity so the rocket doesn't just explode when you shoot the ground. Give the RPG-7 some credit. It's cheap and effective.

@@mandragula451 There is an issue. The survivors that fought off Al Nusra for 13 Hours, were not given any airtime by any of the major news outlets, to tell their story. Fox News was the only one who did. There was a strong effort to silence them. The guys were told not say anything or their careers were over.
