For all non-musicians here, let me explain what this is. This is an insanely perfect rendition of a complex song, played by completely acoustic instruments, all in one take, with brilliant percussion (drums) wonderful voice and 4 guitars, all in perfect sync. They played the special Live version which includes a very hard intro and a special version of the end solo, which is hard to find, so I can assume they learned all this by ear. Please applaud. This is one of a kind.

In 1976, the legendary Eagles recorded their track in a fully equipped studio. In contrast, you guys had none of that - instead, you were surrounded by crocs and snakes. Just think, these guys are 11 years older now. Probably in the their mid twenties and early 30’s. Some probably have kids. Well put. I too have heard this song covered many times. And yes this is a difficult song to get across and make memorable with out it coming across as forced. These guys made it flow like water. Making the setting appropo.

Did you know! This acoustic version was played by the band live in 1994 MTV, this version has a different lead guitar intro and guitar solo at the end, Its different then the original recording.
