I can’t believe another month has passed again. However, in saying that, this month is the most special time of the year for most, no matter what holiday you like to celebrate.

I went over 19 months without a haircut and honestly, looking back and realizing how long I’ve been growing my hair out for is CRAZY. Tying a man bun is no big deal for me anymore, however I’m at college right now and I forgot most of my hair ties at home during thanksgiving break, and the one hair tie I have appears to be on it’s last life, so I try to just let it flow as much as possible 😂😂 I also have super straight hair, so it looks much longer than someone who grew it out for 19 months and might have curly hair. Super excited to see what’s gonna happen within the next month, and I can’t wait till my hair gets longer. I might have to go for a trim this month tho because the hair in the back appears longer than my hair on the sides, so I’d maybe wanna even it out a bit. Good job tho Thomas! Keep it up! Your check ins inspire me to keep growing my hair out as well, and I’m sure other guys agree 🙏🏽

I'm going through the same thing! I went through a 7-8 month period where I just did a bun every day but over the last couple of months I've just been letting it flow!

I am at 15 months of hair growth right now. Currently at around 10-11 inches. Planning to grow them out till they are comfortably over 12 inches, which would be around March or April and donating them and growing them back for the next two years. I document my journey and haircare tips as well.

@@HariNambiarStyle Now I have short hairs( 2 inches of length) on January 1st 2022 I decided to head shave and my goal is to go without a haircut from Jan 1 - Dec (2022). It's also my new year resolution

Really happy for you, I started growing mine out around the same time as yours but it’s nowhere near being ready to tie up, but that’s because my eating habits and stress have honestly been terrible, so much so that my hair might actually be falling out (it’s on my midscalp and my part is a bit wider, but I’m getting it checked out by a dermatologist soon) but nonetheless I’m hopeful for a future of long flowy hair, even in the off chance that I need to start taking fin at 18. It’s gonna be worth it.

Mate. Trust me I have long hair, it won’t damage it. As long as you use good shampoo and conduits, don’t use hot tools, and you don’t smash your hair with a towel. You’ll be fine.

I've been suffering from psoriasis and what I have learned that helps is a low carb diet. Ever since I have been following a low carb diet my psoriasis has gotten drastically better. So, If you have psoriasis with continent sized flakes and red bumps on your scalp, nose, eye brow area, try a low carb diet. It might help.

I've tried twice trying to grow out my hair. Each time I've pretty much given up and cut it short. Since this year I'm turning 40, I'm gonna try it one more time and hopefully stick with it. If I can stick to working out going on 2 months, maybe I can try to stick to growing out my goddamn hair. I've had it short for so long so its gonna be hard to not cut it.

Hey Thomas am a big fan of your hairstyle and personality. Even i want to grown out my hair but i have a query , i have a very dark complexion (somewhat like matt black) and have super staright and silky hair . So i just wanted to know your opinion on whether i should grow out my hair or not . at some point, you will need to cut the top if it's really long so it doesn't look really weird; but many people have grown from long tops and have not big problems tbh

Yes do trim! I've learnt the hard way growing for years and never cutting. I've not noticed any growth and some parts of my hair getting shorter due to damage. I'm now going to get regular trims while growing it longer. Just make sure to tell your barber you're growing your hair but you want a trim to keep it healthy and to keep as much length as possible! ✌️
