Joe Kavaluskis always loved surprising his sons. When Joe learned he would lose his nine-year battle with cancer, he arranged for a final surprise. Logan Kavaluskis, 13, had always wanted a dog, but Joe's allergies made it impossible. So Joe arranged with his wife to get Logan a puppy. "He said, 'Just promise that when I do pass, that you get Logan a puppy as soon as you can, because I know that it will bring him a lot of comfort,'" Melanie Kavaluskis told InsideEdition.com. #InsideEdition

@UCkzA-uPl9xsgYp5lg3IZGRA maybe in this particular situation, it’s exactly what he should have done. Not everyone can handle a dog, but I’m sure this kid can seeing how much he wanted one for so long. And to have that animal be a gift from his dad would make him go the extra mile to live and care for that dog to the ends of the earth.

Well, you're right. But talking about what's awful kind of detracts from what is good. And that isn't a great thing for growth or healing. Remembering what was good and joyous will bring more peace, and I think that's the idea his Dad had about the dog. In the time that he knew his son would need help finding peace, his dad gave him intentional joy and something to make new memories with.

My whole family has a history of cancer so I’m just praying nothing like that happens to me. My grandma’s first husband (my bio grandpa, dad’s dad) died when my dad was also 11 in a car crash, and her 2nd husband died due to cancer. His final wish was to live in Tennessee for the final 2 years of his life, so my grandma literally up and packed up her things and moved them both to Tennessee for his final 2 years. Cancer is definitely a sick thing and I feel so bad that my grandma had to endure that type of loss twice.

Mr. Peke I know you’re just trolling, but he’s made a point to make non click bait videos with a series where it’s literally based on getting to the point (under 10 minutes). Again, know you’re trolling, and obviously don’t watch his videos, but figured I’d mention that. Also KZfaqrs gotta main coin, and sometimes click bait is necessary. :)

I know how hard it is to deal with multiple losses on top of one another.. Bella, my 2nd born passed away on April 28th 2010 wen she was 2months old. Then on April 28th 2012, my husband passed away EXACTLY 2yrs to the day after our daughter did.. He passed away while cuddling w/me on a recliner.. We had been 2gether since I was 12yrs old & he passed wen I was 23.. We had our 1st born son wen I had jus turned 18yrs old. Then our 2nd & 3rd children were born directly after our 1st.
