Its a shame you can't leave it lit up powered from the wall. I've experimented a little myself with clear resin that I mostly painted to light up the clear parts. You could print your own hammer in clear resin then feed in some LED strip to light it all up and just paint all the non cracked parts to get a nice lighting effect that could easily be permanently on.

Putting in neopixel and adding a Thor sound font with smooth swing would be the cherry on top 🤌🏼

I got it and Caps shield half off at my GameStop so despite the flaws i think it was well worth it.

Great review. I was sort of interested in this. You pointed out some of the flaws I was worried about. I am going to put this on a watch list before I buy. There are several things I want to mod with this. That hidden battery compartment was nice.

If you play the movie scene form the first thor when Anthony Hopkins whispers "Whosoever Holds this Hammer, if they be Worthy, shall possess the Power of Thor" the Hammer should glow.

Definitely an awesome piece but not for that price. I was able to pick one up at GameStop for 60 bucks. I think it's worth 60 bucks.

This release is solidly better than the original Marvel Legends Mjolnir release. Far better sound, better light effects, *hidden battery compartment* and obviously the shattered sculpt is interesting. I got mine at Target for about 130 with tax. It's an official collectible and you'll probably be able to get your money back and a little more if you ever need to clear some space in your collection - unless the movie totally stinks.

I'd like to see you weather it and upgrade the paint on it. The paint was lacking quality, looked very poorly done.

Are speakers of a quality that arnt worse than 10 dollar earbuds really so hard to make cheaply? It seems to be the running theme with "replicas" like this from pretty much any company that isnt indie are absolute shite. You hear the sound corruption more than the sound.
