Thank you for doing this tribute to Joe Cocker. There will NEVER be another singer to match his driving rock/blues sound or the emotion he put into his ballads. Gone but never forgotten..

I live near where he lived in Sheffield England and was privelidged to play darts with him in our local pub. My grandmother was a friend of his mother Mrs cocker. God rest your soul my friend. Joe lived near by my friend and he liked her. Unfortunately she wasn't too keen on him . My last memory of him was my friend asking me to hurry as he was calling out to her to say hello!

Loved loved Joe Cocker. Went to see him the first time and unfortunately he couldn’t perform. He was so stoned and/or drunk. He stood at the microphone or should I say he tried to stand. People were yelling come on Joe,you can do it Joe, Delta Lady Joe. But he just couldn’t and he was helped off the stage. I was heartbroken. I waited another 20 years but it was worth the wait He was fantastic and lived up to being the legend that he is. He lives on in his music - which I still play loud and proud. And I’m 75 years old.
