7 жыл бұрынWe ran into the Tesla Racing Channel guy piloting this Tesla P100D on the street...and it was glorious! Are the electric cars finally taking over our bald eagles?! Hopefully not..but this Tesla P100D might have you thinking otherwise. With nothing more than a gutted interior, and some lightweight seats, this economy-electric car shocked EVERYBODY when it wen’t undefeated against some badass drag cars! It’s AWD, and insta-torque make for a KILLER street combo, especially when the roads aren’t too great..can’t wait to see what the future holds for this Tesla!

Turned me into a fan boy. I show up in my grocery getter and dick down all these gear heads who put their soul into their cars. They spend all that time doing burnouts warming up tires, filling up nos, setting up turbos and then I just click a button to put myself in ludicrous mode.

My dad died that one his motorcycle. Dude challenged him. They lined up got ready to launch. Cops lit them up. My dad took of, swapped to my grandpas bike, coat and helmet. Drove back by other guy snitched my dad. Cop stopped my dad and asked if he was the other racer. My dad unzipped his coat showing his work uniform, told the cop he just got off work and was on his way home. Cop let him go.

The Tesla Model S P100D can go 0-60 in 2.3s Confirmed independently (manufacturer claimed 2.5s), you are mistaking the model s with the upcoming 2020 roadster which has a claimed time of 1.9s. Also, the Mclaren 720s can beat it easily in a quarter mile and will only further obliterate the Model S in a half mile. Here's a video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eq6qp7GUkpvQiHU.html Skip to 6:15 (this is race 2, the mclaren won race one at 4:29 but he started a little early although the track accounts for this and he still won by time accounting for the early jump) (side note: In race 2 he doesn't use launch control, although I think he should as it is a stock feature of the car and it's only fair to use full potential of the car to compare although he still won without it).

People simply don't understand EW simply don't have lag. There is no optimum RPM. The moment you floor it you have maximum torque and maximum power.

@Krzysio Not really. electric motor needs some time too gain RPM depending on load. If there is no load it reaches maximum RPM as you said pretty much instantly. If there is heavy load, like car, it will take much more time.

Overclock just means increasing the Frequency higher than stock. The problem being it creates more heat and thats the biggest issue for electronics. For record breaking or seeing how far the tech can go people use liquid nitrogen for maximum cooling. It's only for a few minutes, I don't think there's anyone with a constant LN2 running rig hah
