People think crookham came out of nowhere but he was a 3 time Pennsylvania state champion in hs, the only reason people might have not heard of him was because he didn’t compete in national tournaments junior/senior year due to covid and injury, but he was a top recruit and it’s not surprising he’s this successful

Lot of credit to Crookham. Proving the first W was no fluke. I'll still he taking Vito...if healthy(though I won't really know I guess) in the NCAAs, but I certainly won't be surprised either way. These two and Fix..they SEEM like the clear top 3. And Fix will again have Vito on his side.

It's been kind of cool lately when they had the officials properly microphoned so we could hear their "instructions"; not just the commentary. For me, at least, being able to hear that active involvement in the match is a very real part of the match.

Crookham makes me feel nostalgic. He reminds me of the days of Lehigh when they had Cory Cooperman, Matt Anderson, Dereck Zinck, Dave Nakasone and others (a team of counter-offensive wizards).

Hats off to Crookham to beat Vito not once but twice! That said as any wrestler knows some styles just have trouble with others, and I think Brooklyn's style along with his strength is not a good matchup for Vito. However i think Crookhams style plays into Dayton Fixs strengths too so Nationals will be really interesting and the seeds and bracket postion will huge fof this weight! And just like someone else said remember Carr beat Otoole twice then lost in the Natty Finals, so we will see. Great wim tho and repect too how based Crookham is!

1- Vito had a beautiful double but unfortunately they were on the edge of the mat when he hit it. That’s where Crookham lives. 2- How in the world do you call continuation when Vito ran Crookham out of bounds? What exactly was it that Crookham was continuing besides moon walking. 3- The last takedown, Vito made a fatal error by worrying more about pushing him out of bounds for the stall call rather than wrestling abs in doing so allowed Crookham to go right underneath him for the takedown. I didn’t see the match live initially, just saw the score and was like oh boy. Then after watching this though, it was 6-6 and was a one takedown match (inj timeout gave the escape. Although it has happened twice now, if they get officials at NCAAs that will call stalling properly, and. force Crookham in the center, still like Vito at NCAAs. Hey it happened with Carr and O’Toole last year. Hard to gage where Fix is at in all this but I think it’s a 3 man race at the weight.
