I think these Tate breakdowns are doing so well because, 1 he has a lot of fans, and 2 there's always been breakdowns of Tate's fighting but never from such a high level world champion like Mighty Mouse. Everyone has always been curious to see how legit Tate actually is. Mighty Mouse's opinion is significantly more valid than anyone else who has ever done a Tate breakdown. Great videos, keep em coming

@@Kharim-ni1kt Yes indeed, you highlighted a key thing I forgot to mention. The unbiased approach. Most breakdowns I’ve ever seen of Tate’s fighting has always been coming from either a fan or haters perspective. I can appreciate how unbiased Mighty Mouse is in terms of these breakdowns. Well spotted 👍

It's nice to see objective breakdowns. It is common these days to critique people based on whether you like them or not and it is incredibly bothersome. I don't come to a video like this to hear someone mad about what he said, I just want to see about fighting.

@@maaaaaapWhat does that have to do with what the commenter said.? Who cares that Tate has fans and who cares if those fans think he is a skilled fighter. There are people who think the 90's Bulls were the best basketball team ever to exist, while there are people who think Sean Strickland is the best fighter in the world. Even if neither is true, it doesn't take away from the fact that they both should be respected. Why are you incapable of watching athletes perform and giving credit where credit is due? Apparently you are incapable of compartmentalizing your feelings. You are trying to project your hate on others and it is not allowing you to be objective.

I feel like what the smaller guy could've done better (idk why more smaller guys dont do this more) is utilize feints and fakes to disrupt Tate's timing. Pros do it all the time. My sparring partners (though not on the level of Tate) are usually bigger than me, and this tactic works pretty well 90% of the time. Way better than just walking forward into punches lol

I am not the person to give the opinion on this matter since iam not a boxer (hopefully i could afford a gym with boxing classes in the near future), but I'd like to give one. Tate's level is not only professional, but also a world champion level. When it comes to an amateur, of course it different compared to andrew's level. Their battle theory is still in development while tate's battle theory is already developed. When you say you can do something on fighting bigger guy like tate, tate can also do something to the smaller guy compared to him. I am not trying to argue you my guy, just pointing out the crystal-clear. My opinion might be wrong, so don't get offended. Peace

@nicholasbenaya3407 No you’re right. Im not saying Tate can't do anything back, but that's the tactic I'd rather take than just lunging in trying to head hunt. It's just a more intelligent approach, in my opinion.

Yeah guys slagging him off are politics teenagers lol.

He should’ve bent down when Andrew threw that right hand. The Philly shell works wondrous ways if you mix it up. If he keeps shoulder rolling everything it gets predictable. When I used to train I learned that you can’t avoid/block a punch the same way repetitively because then your opponent catches on to your rhythm. For example, when your opponent jabs you slip, he jabs again you block, he jabs again you step back. Can’t keep doing the same thing

Always talking about wanting to see Tate fight someone bigger, but how many guys are bigger than 6'3" in the fight game? It's okay to also just acknowledge that he has a size advantage in most fights w/out making it seem/sound like he's picking on smaller guys or something.
