Actually guard cells also have chlorophyll coz epidermal cells of guard cells perform photosynthesis.whereas all others epidermal cells can't performan photosynthesis

@@Yuuytfgioooy guard cell have chlorophyll,,, no one denied,,,but there is just light phase of photosynthesis,dark phase can't run there due to absence of CO2 fixation enzymes.....

And sugar in guard cell actually defuses from surround mesophyll cells (granal)....

Actually CO2 fixation take place in dark reaction as well called as Calvin cycle,due to absence of chlorophyll In stroma of chloroplast light not involved.that is why dark reaction take place in both conditions absence and presence of light
