Bros, great vids been watching y'all for a while as a hobbyist who builds PCs...I've been in the Chinese x99 market for a minute too, one reason y'all might be having issues with the nvme drives on these boards is some/most of them work with sata and nvme, so there's a jumper on the board you need to swap. From what I've seen they normally come set for Sata drives for whatever reason

Good combo with the 1660 Super, I would go as far as pair the Xeon with an RX 5700 XT for the best performance and FPS/$. Higher than that would be diminishing returns probably, the CPU is equivalent to a Ryzen 3600(X) or Intel i5 9400F/10400F.

you can get the CPU and RAM used for $40 all day long, thats for both items. The CPU is not that great, its power hungry and a newer low powered i3 is better. You get what you paid for.

As for comparison/vs videos...I'm still waiting for some ASUS CSM corporate boards(green) videos...I mean just the read the main page of features and tell me that isn't awesome for custom builders, especially how you can customize the BIOS...that's awesome, not to mention the build quality features alone.

I built a pc with the same cpu except it had 32gb ddr4 ram and an rx 5700, with 1tb m.2 nvme ssd for $320 all up. Singles day sale last year had crazy good deals. Got a multicore score of $740 on cinebench r24!

hey, i going to build a budget gaming pc with the parts as: GTX 1080, ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB DDR4. but when I bottleneck tested the parts in gpu intensive task i was having 0% bottleneck but when i put it for cpu intensive task it was showing 34% bottleneck. why is that? i am asking this cuz i mainly play minecraft and mincraft is a cpu intensive game

I grabbed a Dell precision 3640 from a server store off lease with a xeon w1290p $550 cad, upgraded ram to 32gb and a 1tb m.2 n me new, Kingston. The xeon CPU has a Uhd graphics. Base CPU frequency is 3.7ghz, 1 core 5.4 ghz all core 4.7ghz. I did a stress test and it went as high as 5.8ghz. Soumds like a great cheap gaming desktop and it's not big. All in with upgrades $723cad icl 13% sales tax. Just need to put in video card. Oh and came with win 11 enterprise freshly installed. Intel 165hz WiFi.

i got a small question. i just recently bought a cyberpc i7 13 gen has the 4060ti games very well. but question is.. is it common for cyberpc to over clock the pcu out of box? my pcu has 16 cores with base speed of 2.1 ghz but it runs at 4.5 - 5.2 ghz. it seems over clocked and i did not do it or know how.

This seems like a standard Turbo frequency for a 13th gen i7, so it runs well within its original spec without overclocking. Nothing to worry about :)

@@ducc44 sorry for the late reply I haven’t tried it yet as it has to do with changing the bios and I don’t have a bios reader to flash it . I suggest watching miychinost he was videos on how do it on list of working bios w/ rebar/sam support on x99 mobo. Was playing palsworld 1440p low settings ( everything is on medium) getting a steady 60 fps with dips . Cpu boost to 2.6 with and without hyper threading

Not gonna lie I was expecting a dumpster fire for a $400 PC but after seeing the results I think I am going to copy this build. I currently do not have a gaming rig and my "gaming" laptop does not do the job. This seems like a solid option to get me by for a year or so till I can build something better

Because this cheap x99 boards are on h81 chipset and h81 doesnt support quad channel ( i tested this )

Xeon builds have been around for awhile until ryzen came in and kind of pushed em to the side.. I myself.. am a cheap bastard so i'll keep building with xeon.. why doesnt anyone ever talk about the Real rx 580? I still have my powercolor red devil 8gb rx 580 on my test bench with an e5 2650 v4 and even with its low clock speeds.. it handles anything i throw at it.. so if you're on a budget.. ali express xeons and a used rx 580 will get you where you want to go most of the time everytime

I wasted so much money on a pc from this channel just to get something that doesn’t work correctly idk if they just made an error or something but I shouldn’t even have to be dealing with something broken I will never buy anything from these people again it’s so frustrating and I just want to say that if anyone is trying to get into pcs just go to your closest computer store you will have a way better chance of getting a good product don’t be dumb like me and risk it just to not have to go through the in store process

Fortnite actually hates slow ram, thats why its not using the cpu and gpu that much, i would definetely go for 2400mhz (the fastest supported ram on the cpu/platform) if you want to get the full performance out of fortnite

Obviously but that's besides the point. You have 14 cores and ECC ram is cheaper than non-ECC, you can be running virtual machines, emulators at the same time you do the rest of your tasks!
