No. 3 Georgia rebounded from a slow start to take down No. 14 Tennessee in Athens, 44-21. After trailing at the half, the Bulldogs defense came out firing in the second half, holding Tennessee scoreless. The Dawgs' defense got after Jarrett Guarantano throughout the afternoon, sacking the Vols QB five times including a scoop-and-score by Monty Rice.
On the offensive side of the ball Stetson Bennett got the job done for Georgia, throwing for a pair of touchdowns while rushing for another. Kearis Jackson led the Bulldogs with 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The Bulldogs now prepare for a big game next weekend against No. 2 Alabama, which will take place in primetime on CBS.
