Honestly, I'm more excited about next season for JT. A full year in Todd Monken's system, experienced RBs, OL, TEs and most importantly WRs will be a deadly combination. Kirby and Dan Lanning, focus on the defense and let Todd Monken, Buster Faulkner, Dell Mcgee, Hortez, etc worry about the offense.

The decision to start Fromm over Justin Fields three seasons ago was disastrous. UGA's offense has struggled ever since with mediocre QB play. In the modern game, you need an offense like Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, OU, and last season's LSU. If Kirby figures this out, and plays the right QB, they will be able to beat a team like Bama instead of just having a half-time lead.

So many of y'all don't recognize that the offense and defense affect one another. It's no surprise that as soon as Georgia stopped running the ball successfully, their defense slacked off. Part of it is the mentality, part of it is the time of possession. But you can't expect lockdown defense and a 400 yard passer unless you are elite. And Georgia is not. So yes they found a better quarterback, but until they found a more balanced offense, they won't have the defense that we are used to seeing. The same thing happened to Alabama with Tua. LSU last season is another great example up until the final few games when they got the defense sorted out. Clemson and Ohio State are really the only two teams that have some type of air raid but also elite defenses. But even still, both are putting up less yards than bama. Moral of the story: Balance d̶e̶f̶e̶n̶s̶e̶ wins championships

That is some of the worst form but some of the best results I have seen from an SEC quarterback in about a decade. But if it works it works.

People dont understand that Mis st was selling out to stop the run only....they loaded the box and would not let UGA run the ball. Problem is they didnt know JT could make them pay for that mistake. Especially there in the 4th quarter....JT threw TD passes on 3 straight throws over 30 yrds in the 4th Q. 2 of em got dropped but Jackson caught the 3rd one, which was the game winner too! The reason? NO SAFETY help over the top at all!! That is why JT threw for 400 yards and 4 TD's Sat nite. Nevertheless it is still a drastic improvement over bennett. Barely won against a depleted team. Kirbys "elite" defense is suspect. Good teams that expect championships do not tolerate a year like this. That was bad. Daniels starts against an already bad team. Mississippi st corners aren't great, they made Daniel's look better then he is. If a wide out has to slow down his run and come back or stop and wait for the ball that is not persision throwing. Alabama would have had a field day with him. Same with Florida.
