On this episode of Chaos Divers, we left no stone unturned for Karen Adams, missing from the Mountaineer Casino at 54 years old.
Karen Adams went missing on March 12, 2007 after being seen on surveillance cameras leaving the casino. Her family has one big question, “Where’d Karen go”? During this episode we checked out from the Mountaineer Casino down to the Newell Bridge.
We will return and continue our efforts for Karen Adams.

Never look at a "failed" dive as a failure. As Lindsey said it's confirmation of where she is not. You will never dive for nothing. Always remember that. Stay safe brother.

Me and my family drove to West Virginia in 2007 for my Gramma's funeral. We heard people talking about Karen Adams and how she just disappeared. But I'm glad they finally replaced that old rickety bridge. Jacob, Thank You for everything you guys do. You all risk your life to help out family members to get closure. Losing a loved one and not knowing what happened to them is surely the worst feeling a family to go through. What you and others, not government funded, is truly a blessing. Keep up the hard and sometimes disappointing work, you are making a difference.

Jacob you don't dive for nothing, you dive to find answers to possibilities of X,Y and Z questions. So no dive is a failure even if you do get cold as..... whatever!! You guys always do your best to provide families with answers no matter what happens. Never forget that. Thank you for everything you do for those who have missing loved ones. I live in Steubenville. I can't imagine what all you will find in the river. There are so many back roads around this area with drop off sides. It's hard to tell if she is even in the river. But a huge appreciation for what you are doing for her family.

@Thomas Cunningham I was born in Steubenville and attended Big Red high school. I live in Florida now and couldn't believe Chaos was there. That river is nightmarish from the stories I heard growing up. One of them was supposedly there are catfish down there as big as humans. My dad was a sheriff there and yeah, cars go into that river from cold, icy roads. Was good to see a little part of Steubenville.

Literally what everyone else has said here... if it was my loved one I would need to be SURE that car-sized and / or car-shaped rock was in fact a rock. I can see why it feels like a waste of time & effort but it's really not. You're doing amazing.

We now know Karen Adams is not in the water there , as Lindsay said it was a confirmation dive , no failure there what-so-ever and to be " Colder than a well diggers butt " , well , that's gotta be pretty darn cold. I pray she is found, so heartbreaking for her family and loved ones. Have they ever thought if she was planning on driving another route or maybe going to get breakfast somewhere? There are so many different windy roads with water ways between Steubenville and the casino, even drop off hillsides and depending on weather that day/night some of these roads can be slick!

yeah, that also depends on if she took WV-2 or OH-7, as to where she could be. SO many possibilities unfortunately.

@@mattcat231 Or if she took RT 30 or RT 22 coming out of Weirton, the Eat n Park was open 24/7 back then. Then we did have a ton of flooding that could have pushed that car downstream.

I respect everything you are doing brother. Never feel like an idiot. I have researched this case and tried to figure it out myself. These types of cases struck my interest upon seeing videos like this and the videos Adventures with Purpose has made and the discoveries they have found. I’m curious to know if anyone has ever checked the small body of water at the intersection of Washington ST and Ferndale RD? I know it’s said that she lived in Independence Township so maybe it happened on her way home? So sad to see stuff like this happen. I hope the family gets the answers they are looking for. Don’t look at this as a disappoint. I respect everything you do brother! There is still hope to find the answers this family is looking for

You had to check it. Even if it was the biggest underwater car shaped Boulder ever. You now know where she is not at. That beautiful woman broke my heart. I pray for everyone who has a missing loved one. I pray their loved one is found one day. It is still checked off so you know it wasnt on that side of the river. I'd check the other side too just to make sure you don't see anything over there. I sure hope Karen is found very soon so her loved ones can lay her to rest. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing with us!

There are rocks in the rivers here the size of cars and houses, in Colorado in the South Platte.
