Sweet. What's the difference between a violin and a fiddle? A violin has strings. A fiddle has "strangs"

I love this music and I've watched this video over and over and I am fairly sure that is one young man playing all five parts of the violinist. It almost looks like he is in front of a screen unless there are five boys that look extremely a lot alike

"WOW"!! Man... listening to you folks has brought back so many good fine memories of when I was a kid in the early 1970s. My dad was a mobile welder and mechanic and everyone knew him, all the local farmers and people from town that loved and played country music knew my dad and sometimes on Friday evenings after work, people would come over to our house and they'd bring their instruments and some kind of booze, either a case or two of beer or a bottle of whiskey and at around 6PM on those warm summer Friday evenings and the house was full they'd start drinking and talking and tuning their guitars, fiddles, banjos, even a big bass fiddle and by 7PM they'd all be feeling pretty good and someone would start picking a tune and someone else would join in and I tell you in a very short time there'd be 10 or more people playing right along and it'd get really loud but nice and clear. Most times my dad didn't bother hooking up the amplifiers and speakers, didn't need them unless they all went outside to play by the fire I had made in the backyard. Anyways, they'd play the best music all Friday night. Us kids would be having a great time eating and sneaking sips of beer and listening to them all play Hank Snow, Hank Williams, Hank Thompson, George Jones, Ned Landry, Eddy Arnold, Bob Wills, Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, Dave Dudley, Claude King, Leroy Van Dyke and so many more. There were so many great country music singers on the radio and my dad and his workin friends could pick up on a song and play it well and I could go on and on... Shucks, for now all I can say is: Thank You to you talented folks and I hope you all are enjoying great success and living good lives. I'm still smiling hahaa!!!

Ah, this was refreshing to see, a young man enjoying the simpler things in life while having a great time and offering the world some great fiddlin! I cried whilst watching this as it reminded me of my Granpa who used to play with Ernie Tubb and Bill Monroe. I sure miss this old stuff and am so happy to see a younger generation embracing such REAL music.

Very IMPRESSIVE!! "Now that young man saws a pretty mean fiddle. Reminds me of Bart Trotter. I was lucky enough to see Bart Trotter play at the Texas State Championship Muzzleloader Match at Brady when I was about 8 years old, Bart was about the age of this guy. Bart Trotter won the world championships playing the fiddle quite a few years later. Last I heard he had A.L.S. I'd like to encourage all of you to look up Bart Trotter playing the Clarinett polka and hit like. I'd like to see this young Sawyer learn the Clarinet Polka. The name of this tune makes us country music fans but its pure country music and its the pennicle of playing the fiddle. Bart Trotter makes everyone else seem like they must have had one too many Long Island Ice Tea. Play the Carinet polka for us Young Sawyer.

I'm not young, and I'll bet about 5 days after I die, Chris Kempter will be a breakout talent on the big screen, probably both comedy and drama (he seems like a drama queen), and not too long after that, someone will be the first to say, "He plays fiddle, too?" and then hopefully the Kempters will get the recognition the Family-Band deserves...all of which would be great, except I died 5 days ago.

Not sure what's going on here but many of the comments below pertain to a different video upload. The 14-year old fiddler performance is really entertaining - in case you didn't notice, all 5 boys are the same guy (Chris) in different clothes cleverly superimposed on the one video track. Great acting Chris - subtle but really funny. The music is expertly performed too but obviously "lip-synced" (dubbed) - the fiddling is hard to pick from live recording but the lack of cables connected to the bass guitar and keyboard is a dead give-away!
