She is the smallest physically, but the strongest emotionally.A true leader. When her whole team is down, she is the only one that stood firm and held the team together. Just like when the members were crying but she tried her best to hold it in.Because if even the leader of the group breaks down, the group will be a mess. And people often mistake this as taeyeon not caring about jessica at all when the fact is that she is carrying the responsibility of being the leader.

@jonathan it's been 5 YEARS move on omggggg did you really think she and her members had some power over it? no one actually knows about what happened back then except them and sm, so please stop making up stories about it and blame her or her members. also op only talked abt her responsibility as a leader, and that she always try her best to held back her tears when her members are crying. why did your comment sound like you mad at that? this was their very first schedule after that thing happened and everyone knew it was also hard for them. taeyeon wasn't being not care or whatever, she was just doing and showing her responsibility as their leader and their backbone, that was why she tried to hold it in when her members were crying. being a leader isn't easy, and as what op wrote, if the leader cried too then the whole team and the atmosphere would be down and became a mess....... that's it

Compared this to the other fancam when Jessica was still part of GG, you can see in that video, Taeyeon even took off her earpiece to hear Jessica sing and even sing along her part and Taeyeon look so happy but in contrast, in this video, she look so sad and always keep her head down...My taengsic heart can't take it.

She's holding her tears during jessica's part on the 2nd chorus. Try watching in 1080p and slow it down by 0.5, you'll notice the tears and the redness of her eyes near the end of the 2nd chorus. Also, I noticed that most of the time she will sing along with Jessica during performances of Goodbye.
