Great explanation. That really helps. It's amazing how quick you can record a seamless pattern. Now I need to have a talk with my feet to pay attention. Thanks.

Brother Dan that is so impressive and inspirational I don't have the words. When you went to the second camera I thought I was in the space shuttle. What a set up! I know it looks difficult and maybe even impossible to some but with a little inspiration and time you can do more than you think. On playing like the recording... I've heard the recording. I love to see players take something and make it their own. That's the beauty of each individual journey. Thanks for a great tutorial and I'm looking forward to part two. God bless my friend.

Thank you my Brother Rodney;) Your insight on playing like the record...a "perfect explanation"! And one that I will be using from now on to try and explain to many of my fellow pickers who are so "locked in" to playing the "original" that they literally have "no mental room" for their own ideas...and therefore...have none to offer. Just "more licks exactly like whomever they are listening to. I surely undertand this...but now that I am so much more "aware" of this...I can "utilize" all I have "stolen" which is most of everything I play...and "try" to "piece it together" differently to a degree. Headin' to make a "Looper Lesson" on "Peaceful Easy Feeling"...and later tonight...recording "Missouri Waltz" on the Martin D28/45 for you my Brother;) My prayers to you both and your family and friends...Sincerely I am...Dan;)

Love the loop lesson, you are very creative and make it seem simple. I see now that I need a second looper. 🤠

Thank you for watching Brother Mojo and for the kind words;) After a while...just like anything else we pursue...things and methods become "2nd nature"...and for the most part, that is "how" it is for me and this looper setup. There are always the "challenges" of creating...especially "on-the-fly request" during my "live performances...loops that are "musically sensible" to the listener & to me...the performer...and most of the time, I get "close enough" to provide the listener an "audio experience" that is semi-pleasant & enjoyable...the "Goal";) A second looper pedal is "critical" for my applications...and even tried a 3rd but didn't have the "necessity" as much as I thought I might by having that 3rd pedal within the sequence. Here's a "Looper Beware Tip": The Boss RC-1's "Capture & Perform" to my foot-tapping "on the beat" rhythm. I have used several loopers...the Ditto's in particular...to actually "add" a tiny bit of "extra time" at the beginning of the loop once you have "made" the loop...which makes a "hiccup" in the timing of the loop you are creating...and a "mystery to the mind" of the performer who "thinks" they are "tapping in time". This occured to me on several early explorations of trying different loopers with the Ditto being the biggest "culprit" of this sonic anamoly. The Boss RC-1...performs as I "feel" tempo...and therefore perfect for my needs. Thank you again...and my prayers to you, your family and friends...let me know if you have a song in mind you would like to "Hear & See" looped;) Sincerely I am...Dan;)

I'm going to get killed if there are any Parrotheads in the comments, but I prefer your version of "Mville" over the great Jimmy's. Love the sound of those Nobles ODR-1s, they sound much better than the regular tube screamer circuit to me, even though they are probably very close. That Nux reverb/delay pedal looks awesome as well. I would bet that you can find a clean Fender tremolo sound on the IR-200 if you want some space on your board. I get why you use the 2 loopers now, it definitely makes it easier to get in and out of songs that way. I think I've told you I have a Ditto - but I like the Boss version better and will try to trade my Ditto for a used one soon. Seeing the loop length is helpful for timing. It is very inspiring when you get it right. Quick thing - I saw a FR-10 in the flesh at the local shop where I got the Lion. I noticed it has a Jensen speaker. I wonder if it is the 10" version of the PQ12 that came in my FSR Princeton. Do you know if that speaker has a very flat response or is it a different kind of speaker? Really awesome video lesson, super helpful for us weekend warriors trying to get the looping down. Have a blessed day and enjoy the FL sunshine.

Thank you for these kind words Brother Guy...and for watching;) The IR-200 offers several reverbs but is the only "effect" that is in it's design...which keeps it "simple & small" regarding it's "footprint" on the board due to not having to "add" additional switches to "shut off/turn on" effects...very compact. The reverbs are excellent;) Although most Fender speakers are "Flat" in response....this is a very "general statement"...as each of their "flat response" designs provide a "unique sonic & frequency" translation and therefore their own "sonic coloration". Think of speakers as "tires" on a vehicle...so many options and "performance from design" results. But the vehicle is still "affected" by the "fuel" that is put in the vehicle...or the spark plugs that are used...or the amount of "air" in the tires....with all of these references being directed at the effects pedals and cables being used within your "guitar to amp" combination...with the final results being "interpretated" by the speaker within the amp/cabinet you are using. Let's keep pickin'...and thank you for your question. My prayers to you, your family and friends... Sincerely I am...Dan;)

@@musicmandan1717 Thanks Dan. Totally makes sense. The rig is the sum of its parts. I will try something digital in front of that Princeton soon. That one will be a keeper for me, so I have plenty of time!
