Filmed The Hollies A5, BP Truckstop and a small sequence at Hilton Park Services late 1996. The last shots at the Hollies may be 1997. Hope you find these old videos interesting, I am enjoying editing them and i certainly enjoyed filming them back in the day.

Miss the 3 series Scannys, did see lots of then as a kid in the late 90s on a motorway, now there little to none.

Seen one burgundy hanging around the M60, that's about it sadly, although in eastern europe you literally can't miss seeing one, such a shame

Rio blyth Sounds like you seen it recently? you won't see another one in a while just R or S models. I think Greece haves a lot of older models, they buy second hand trucks from a different country and drive then over there, same for Russia too.

My dad is the driver of the white 143 with the red and yellow livery Robinsons from portadown. (The 143 with all the close ups) YIB6360 I was 5 years old at the time

manys a cold night i spent in the hollies ( what a shithole ) the BP in wolverhampton wasnt much better and the ladies of the night battering the door at all hours looking for fun !!! oh the memories ........

FUNNY HOW COME 23 YEARS AGO ALL U NEED WAS A SCANIA 143 450 T0 HAUL 40 TONS GROSS BUT NOW U NEED A SCANIA R730 2 PULL 44 TONS. BUT THE 143 WAS AND STILL IS A LEGEND OF A LORRY.
