Hello, Tremendous Gift that you have received in your hands. I love bougainvillea. I am from Puerto Rico and as a tropical island there it is easily cultivated and receives the necessary sun. Now that I live in Washington state. I would like to know if I put it in water and with grow lights I can grow it.

I’m growing it as a bonsai using LECA and hydroponic nutrients under grow light. It even bloom twice. And yes they can grow with proper watering and grow light

Did you rinse the leca previously or do these plants don't mind increased oh levels? Did you use fertilizer?

Yeah, I rinse the LECA before use. I don’t check the ph level ever since and yet my plants are doing so fine. I’m using hydroponic fertilizer all the time instead of just using plain water.

WOW! This is blowing my mind, I love house plants but don't have a lot of luck with them, perhaps not enough light in my apt. I use artificial. and bought two plants, the Fiddle Leaf ficus, and the Money tree, which cost almost $70 bucks, both died within weeks. Not sure if not enough water, or not enough light, anyway I like this Leca, and I am willing to try it with some new plants. Question, can this work for vegetable plants too?

Great video! The large draceana corn plant--did you keep the water level up to the holes at all time? I am trying one of theses and it seems too wet 😣help!

Initially you have to maintain the water level up to the holes as much as possible while the roots are establishing and growing, after a few weeks then you can just make sure there’s water in the reservoir enough for the roots to absorb.
