When I started working for Wendy's many years ago, the Frescatta sandwich was actually popular in the store I worked at. The problem with Wendy's, is that if something doesn't work out well in a large number of stores, they'll pull it from all the stores, because they want all the stores to be homogeneous. In the 15 years I work in that store, we had a few things that sold really well that they ended just because it didn't do well nationwide. Made a lot of our customers mad to.

The ironic thing about the Dairy Queen Breeze failing is that it would probably do very well nowadays, considering how popular Froyo is. After all, yogurt _is_ a lot healthier than ice cream! 😋 Now, excuse me while I go top this healthy yogurt with Oreo chunks and Butterfinger pieces.

I have to comment on your review of the Wendy's Frescata, the sandwich was only marginally successful, the problem was it was labelled as being "fresh" but the meat was prepackaged, the cheese was prepackaged, so the only thing they could make "fresh" was the rolls, they were baked in store but the demand wasn't high enough to keep the item on the menu. That and the only thing that tasted good was the ranch sauce so everyone wanted extra of that throwing the "healthy" aspect of the item off. I worked in a Wendy's at a mall when this was on the menu so these are my observations on the matter.

NO. I absolutely LOVED Wendy’s Superbar, from my college days through the early 90s. I wish they still had it. Not a failure by any means. It was fantastic.

I was working at Pizza Hut when the Bigfoot Pizza was still available. They discontinued it to come out with the Stuffed Crust Pizza. It wasn’t that popular at the beginning, so it was relaunched when the movie Casper came out. It was marketed towards kids to get them to eat the crust. There’s commercials about it on KZfaq

Oh Babble Top you did it again, you said that the McRib came back until 2019, suggesting it didn't come back in 2020, it did and also in 2021, the only year It did skip was back in 2014 when corp decided to let the restaurants decide if it was worth having on there menu and many decided not to but it's been back every year since

Its funny, growing up commercial fishing on the weekends i learned a very simple truth about fish, good fish doesnt taste fishy, its all in the prep and storage. The fishy taste is bacteria. In regards to all seafood, if it smells fishy, definitely dont eat it it, its bacteria amplified to the point you can smell it. Again this is often caused by bad prep as well as freeze thaw xycles allowing bacteria growth

Another way they could have sold the Hula Burger would be to use teriyaki sauce to glaze it... unfortunately it happened before I was born, so I couldn't suggest it. Anybody got Marty McFly and Doc Brown's DeLorean handy? Lol.

The bigfoot pizza is actually still a thing in Indonesia. It just launched a few months ago marketed as 1 meter pizza with 3 toppings and 3 sauces as well.

Taco Bell removing an item from a menu after a few MONTHS is actually a long time for them. Most of their new items last about a month. I go there 1-2 times a month and sometimes I miss getting to try new items cause they’re already gone

McRib is not discontinued item! Why do you do this? It’s a temporary item when pork is cheaper. It comes back once a year, every year and always advertised temporarily back.
