Oh man I remember the shake em’ up fries. I was like 10 years old in the backseat of the car shaking them like crazy😂😂 Japan still has their version of shake em’ up fries.

I liked the hot dogs. They tasted good and they were cheap. At 79 cents each, I could get 3 plus fries and a drink for about $5. But I got em plain with only mayo. Yum. I also enjoyed the grilled chicken burgers. My only criticism was that it sometimes tasted a little burnt.

I want the whopperito! I think it just needed time to catch on. It was really good. I miss it so much. I don’t remember them having any adds for “burger shots” here in Oregon and I watch a lot of tv. Lots of things that are advertised across the us don’t make it to the west coast or at least the whole west coast.

I'd like someone at Burger King to tell me it's going to be a 10 minute wait because they are making up my order fresh. Ours is so nasty it's literally hours between grill offs. I'd rather eat gas station burgers.

interesingly I don't think very many of these ever showed up in Hungry Jack's (the australian burger king). We did get the tiny burgers (which were smply called minis rather than hot shots or whatever and came in beef or chicken varieties) and we still have the wraps I think (or they come and go seasonally) but no 'whopperitos'. THey did briefly have a 'big jack' (yes, it was the hungry jack's version of the big mac) and a burger with a peppercorn sauce, as well as a pulled beef burger (whcih was pulled beef with angus beef pattie). They currently have a pork belly burger with pork belly strips, lettuce, spicy sauce and beef patty. They also got rid of the origina chicken royale (which was a long shaped chicken burger/sandwich) and agve the name to their basic chicken burger, and removed their tendercrisp burger in favour of the new 'jack's fried chicken' burger (which while good isn't as good as the tenercrisp in my opinion)

I worked at Burger King when I was pregnant and when I was in high School. When I was pregnant I remember making those hot dogs in the flame broiler and how dried up they got also the cereal shakes that were way too sweet

I feel like a lot of these ideas come from the heads at BK not understanding their customers/audience. The extremely high majority of people who frequent a place like BK aren’t looking for anything fancier than a huge greasy burger along with some kind of deep-fried side dish _(ie; french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, tater tots etc)_ that’s quick & convenient as possible to obtain. I can’t imagine a BK fan ever desiring a dinner basket over the typical menu items and I doubt most people would even consider going to BK if they were craving fast food TexMex, fast food pizza or “healthier” fast food - they’re gonna desire it from restaurants that specialize in it. And gorging on fast food is highly associated with comfort eating, self soothing & hedonistic enjoyment. I doubt anyone wants their meal packaging to remind them of their sadness, anger or apathy

Go to the store buy any given hotdog and some buns cook said dog but leave it in a plastic bin for few hrs add warm relish and onion from day before hot ketchup and mustard and the magic of the bk trash dog is yours

@@BabbleTop I don't know because I never tried them. It seem like they would be good but I only watched them on Critical Eats Japan. When Paul, does his reviews from burger places there is usually a seasoning for the fries .However I have been to Japan but to my knowledge it wasn't a thing then but that was back in 2001.

I think wendys fries are really gross now since they changed their recipie for them. They were fine how they were before. Not related to the video, just wanted to say my opinion. Im hoping they dont sell well and go back to the original recipie

When I can make a better burger by simply putting a patty on a skiliet? Well you know why they are falling behind. Flame broiler? Most of the time i get a unappetizing grill marked, dead patty. Zero flavor. Lettuce thrown over which ever way. Yes there are good locations. But they dont exist here on the west coast. If my food looks sick. I wont go back. If my whooper looks like a 6 year old had made it. I wont go back. I have spent thousands of dallors at BK. But here on the west coast. Wont be eating any more BK. Either train them workers. On how to make it. Or go under. BK stays open late. That would be the only reason why to go. Even the deals are becoming less appealing. 2 whoopers for $6. Gone. Remember BK. Your patrians knows what they want. If it looks like a shit. Partially under cook patty. Than we wont be going back.
