The VideoAI I had fun with my friends over the weekend. Made videos about installing toilets, about weird concepts with one piece, about the history of technology, and all their voices are REALLY GOOD! I used to do video editing too as a job and this would have saved me a lot of trouble figuring out stock inserts, or a flow or storyboards. Its nuts! Glad you shouted that out!

I remember when Apple introduced the App Store in the early days of the iPhone - and one year later many new Apple-Apps and features showed up on the iPhone, making 3rd Party Apps bought on the Store irrelevant. But Apple saw that users wanted that feature/wanted an app - and Apple delivered. Without doing much research, just looking at the charts of the most downloaded apps. Kind of a similar approach, imo.

Also, a lot of people don't know that usage limits are still in place. I used one of the most popular GPTs on that store, and in the process of explaining what it had to do for me, an hour went by and it still couldn't complete my job!

I really wish OpenAI would introduce a couple of key features more than anything. Firstly, it would be incredibly helpful if each chat showed the specific GPT version or custom GPT icon it was created with. This way, it would be much easier to keep track of our conversations and the tools we used. Secondly, a full-text search function to look up old chats, even those from several months ago, would be a fantastic addition. This would make retrieving and referencing past discussions so much more convenient.

There are chrome extensions for search by the way. But I agree, it should be native. Same with combining chats or migrating 3.5 chat to 4, creating memory clusters or projects (eg have one project for work, one for personal, and the memory spans everything within those chats as if it were all in one chat)

I made the least useful GPT so far, a game! Quest Scribe is a text adventure game powered by the GPT platform. I made it as a community project so if anyone has ideas on improving it or how to add a private memory for it to use, I would love the help. Matt, your vids are awesome and keep getting better and im sorry if this comment feels like an ad but ive had a ton of fun making this by myself. You're one of 3 people i chose to sub to, and I have purposely not subbed to anyone the last 10 years of KZfaq. They're just too good to be missed.❤️

As others have pointed out, the Chat GPT store is very bad. From my experience as an app developer, and now a GPT dev, the discoverability of GPTs is basically broken. I worked hard for many days and developed 10 very cool GPTs myself, mostly photo editors that improve your generated images, that are actually better than plain Dall-e, and I got 0 chats since the store opened. What a waste of my time..

link them here or write the name, I will try them! but also the issue is that I think GPTs won't be very profitable, they can be replicable and for now not even monetized and also I think my GPT 4 is broken and I have to go back to single prompts because I can't automate anything, even after 1 h writing the GPT to help me do a simple automation (e.g. write FB posts with emojis etc) it still leaves out something all the time...

Hi Matt, maybe you have already spoken aboutt this, but do you think the ouptut of GPT 4 massively lost quality recently? I am struggling to get simple outputs like tables, or things written in a specific number of paragraphs or very simple tasks I used to do very easily, now it seems it got worse and takes me a few attempts every time and I can't easily automate tasks...thoughts? just after 1:19 As soon as I saw the name, I went, I checked it out and 40 questions later I'm back... Problem now is whatever the second option is, will be hard to beat the first, I have to wait 3 hours to ask it more questions. I'll probably learn more from the comment section here when i get to the end of this video, rather than waiting three hours to load up 40 more prompts between 15 more recommended GPT's. First one is very good. Going to keep watching now!

Another separate question. Do you know any really good AI software that is good with stocks? I think what I am looking for would also need the ability to partially scrape the internet. There are a lot of simple questions that I ask Bard, Claude, etc that they can't answer. For example, something as simple as "what stocks have their pay-date today?"

However, you are exceptionally good at time stamping and providing details in your video description section. Have you played with the tool to summarize a video that isn't as well documented as you typically do, and how well did the tool perform in less structured video analysis?

I've never been an "early adopter" although I hold a graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction. I've kind of jumped on the bandwagon since late 2022, though, when AI applications became practical. I'm excited about the possibilities with this, quantum computing, and even fusion (another headline that didn't get enough credit late 2022). Thanks for sharing this content. You do a much better job than any AI Matt Wolfe GPT could do (...for now). ;)

Very Interesting. As you say - not sure if it's the next big thing overall - but could be the next big thing within the chatgpt ecosystem. e.g. for me a gpt that helps me prompts better for certain sites (e.g. Leonardo, Midjourney, Diffusion etc) would be really useful.

I've tried making a couple gpts and have noticed that it has a very short memory. It's a bit odd, basically if I have a back and forth with chatgpt to say do x, then y, then z in separate commands, it will understand. But if I build a gpt that says do x, y then z, it will forget y or z. Very frustrating -- why have a certain character limit for instructions if it can't remember everything within that limit??

About Financial Wizard… you can try yourself to ask to predict a certain stock price, using his usual algorithm being on a certain date (in the past), assuming to have no future data, for a certain date in the future; I tried with Nvidea; assuming to be in September 2023, assuming to have no future datas available, predict the stock price at December 2023 using your usual algorithm: answer 117 $ (real was 495 $)

I tried to create a personal GPT try to upload my discussions and data files to centralized everything into one gpt, and open AI would not let let me. I had to convert everything to PDFs which ended up being 625 pages, and even then, I still have to add extra content to round it out as far as knowledge and behavior.

Although I didn’t use the GPT Simpsonize me, I have tried to get GPT to do this for me you know Dall-e, and it gave me all this language on IP etc. so if it does it there must be a way to cleverly prompt GPT/Dall-E to get the same type of image

"By the way, GPTs are also created for card making. They do the same thing as all the other ones I've tried. You just need to prompt them like you do with other things. However, sometimes it seems like they don't understand what they're supposed to be doing. Mine is actually geared towards making cards, but it still makes mistakes. They all seem to work the same way when it comes to image-making. They tend to make images overly detailed and rich. Sometimes, you just want a simple background or less clutter, but they often get it wrong. If you ask them to create an image similar to one you provide, it usually turns out quite different. They can be sensitive to certain requests, and if you ask for a character sheet, they might overlap the information. So, yes, these GPTs are essentially the same, and you can achieve similar results with the regular GPT as well. There's not much difference in many of these models."

Making GPT make a GPT is remarkable honestly. I have one that i can just paste a link and it gives me a summary of what was there. Another that given an address it will create a research report draft that I can then put into a few different GPTs for either summary, expansion, lesons about, or a full report. Its crazy how good GPT can make GPTs. I have made many of them nd it still trips me out how well it works.

There really needs to be a good ranking system. It seems that the first to market GPT basically has the market, the others which may be much better are buried forever. Additionally, a way to Favorite them so reuse is easy.
