also those annoying lights on appliances are there so that you know its on and dont accidentally leave them on. covering them means you may not notice that you forgot to turn off the humedifier and it runs dry and over heats , melts, catches fire. or that you left a stove element on andf then you accidentally touch it and there go your fingerprints

Item number 1, those exact oven rack covers cost me $1,500. I purchased those oven rack covers for a member of my family who kept getting burned by the oven racks on accident. They worked great as advertised, but one simple mistake would cost thousands. The ovens self clean mode. The way this mode worked on our oven (I’m assuming it’s the same on other products as well) was to heat the oven to as high as it could. But this caused the silicone oven rack covers to melt, covering the entire oven in a white (impossible to remove) dust. In hindsight, the oven rack covers weren’t part of the oven, and we should have removed them, but a warning would have been nice. In the end, we needed to purchase a new oven for about $1,500 (including installation and other miscellaneous fees) and ruined our matching appliances and left us without an oven for an extended period of time. Just a heads up for anyone considering that product.
