The scary part is that with the same power to do great good comes the power to do great evil. Some I think will be great and probably bring more good than bad, like Nuclear Fusion (if we can pull it off in a safe, sustainable manner). Others, like AI, are a bit more intimidating.

Exoskeleton, to me, is one of those thing that will be in great demand. In western countries, people are ageing (it's a fact). I'm sure that it could be a great aid to those old people that don't want or can't have external (to the family) help.

@jtaylor1311
@jtaylor1311 Жыл бұрын
I don't think it will because the limitation of 5g is a shorter coverage area (hence why there are so many towers/panels these days), so logically a higher hertz band have an even shorter distance, but do your own research
@johndurrett3573
@johndurrett3573 Жыл бұрын
The higher the frequency, the larger the amount of data it can carry. However as the frequency increases, the shorter the distance it can travel before it is absorbed and breaks up. 5g requires more towers or microwave antennas per square mile then 4g, presuming 6g requires even higher frequencies, even more towers or microwave antennas will be needed to cover the same area.

If we can improve solar panels a bit more, I'd say put small panels on the car, and have solar powered charging stations at home and in parking lots to keep the cars charged instead of letting them drain to near empty and waiting for a full recharge it'd work better... Of course this would take some work, but could be one of the options for EVs.

Ok here is the math for MOR0Ns like you. 1kw per sq metre of sunlight(that optimal} IE full sun car may have roughly 2.5 sq metre so that 2.5kw of light ... Panels covert at 22% so 2500w * 0.22= 550w peak.. Now the sun is about 8 hrs of useable light IE dust and dawn are useless. So 8 hrs by 550w = 4.4kwhours. So you get about jack all as the a Tesla is 60kw hours, so you would need 13.6 days a good sun to charge your car once.

I wouldn't have mentioned Metaverse itself, (probably will evolve to something else) but the virtual reality platforms in general. How online stores, gaming, and even "traveling" industries are making their own playgrounds. I don't think our brains will be able to handle that, is for me the scariest part
@54m0h7
@54m0h7 Жыл бұрын
I agree. The Metaverse TM is not good, but the idea of virtual worlds, commerce, etc is inevitable. What we need is a free to use and easy to access version, then people will flock to it.

VR simply mimics the 3d reality our brain already lives in. Our brains arent 2d and that has worked fine, lol. You would have been the Puritan screaming about the magic that is AM radio.
@vius0013
@vius0013 Жыл бұрын
@@mitch_the_-itch The problem is that our brains can't tell what is real and what isn't, it just experiences it. I don't satanize this technology, I actually work for an animation agency and a big part of the work goes to this big technology shift. We will be able to basically create a life within our life, and comparing that to what smartphones have done to us so far, is for me, scary
@mitch_the_-itch

@@vius0013 Normal people can tell the difference. Commie/Fascist leftwits cant, lol. VR is simply another tool for media consumption. A far more natural one. If someone forces you to use it against your will we can fight them together. Letting your "scared" dictate my life is a no go.

The other issue with wave electricity plants are maintenance. Salt water is hell on metal. Those generators are filled with oil and if they break down or leak that oils goes into the ocean. Put millions of them in the ocean to cover our electrical needs and you will have thousands leaking at any given point in time.

He also mentioned that the technology was back engineered from alien technology salvaged from a UFO crash site.

I think that charging roads may work, but they need to be wireless, the electric transformer works by moving electricity from a copper coil to an iron core which turns an electric field into a magnetic field, then on the other side of the iron core there is another copper coil which turns the magnetic field into an electric field again, I think that wireless chargers work dividing the process on two, basicaly sending the magnetic field to a copper coil inside the cell phone, which turns it into an electric field, I think that something like that could be used if the tires receive the magnetic field, because distance is always the problem with those technologies, also we don't want the road to magnetize our stuff.

Not to mention if you get shot at your now slower to go prone, and when your prone your now several inches higher off the ground and if you arent shot directly your suit will get shot.
