What's interesting in the autumn night sky in 2021? Planets, galaxies, comets, nebulae, asteroids, star clusters and the moon. You can see it all in one night! Of course, there is much more to see in the sky, but I chose 15 interesting objects that can be admired with the naked eye, binoculars, telescope and camera.
I shot the film with a Sony A7SIII camera with a Samyang 135mm lens. Simply put, you can see a similar view through 10x50 binoculars in a dark sky with little light pollution.
In the video I also used materials filmed/photographed with the Nikon P1000 and Sony a6400 cameras:
Saturn (1), Jupiter (2), Neptune (3), Uranus (5), Moon (10) - shots taken with the Nikon P1000 camera at maximum zoom (only the picture of the moon was taken at less than maximum zoom).
Double Cluster (14) - 5-second exposure with the Sony A6400 + samyang 135mm.
Pleiades (7), Triangulum Galaxy (8), Andromeda Galaxy (9), Orion Nebula (11), Comet 4P/Faye (12), Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko (13), Dumbbell Nebula (15) - these are the photos taken as a result of stacking and cropping from dozens of frames, 30 seconds each. Everything was filmed in one night in September 2021 in Poland, but you will find all these objects in the autumn of 2021. The location of planets, asteroids and comets is constantly changing, so when finding them, use astronomical applications.
