I don't pre-cut my vegetables cause I cut them in different sizes and shapes depending on the type of dish I'm cooking. So, I just wash them and put them in different containers. As for meat, I would wrap them up in parchment paper instead of cellophane wrap to reduce plastic waste, and store them in containers too. Thanks for the healthy eating tips!

Recipe for cooking the chicken chop in rice cooker? Settings and timing? 😊
@Akane_Kato
@Akane_Kato 8 күн бұрын
Sorry for the delay! Here’s the recipe for you. Hope you enjoy making it😊 1. Mix 3 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp cooking sake, 3 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp mayonnaise, and 1 tsp grated garlic in the rice cooker bowl. 2. Add one chicken breast (frozen is okay) skin-side down. 3. Cover with aluminum foil and start the regular rice cooking cycle. Optional: Add boiled eggs and keep on warm for 10 min after cooking✨

I'd add optional hack - adding protein shake helps to control hunger and also can increases metabolism. Moreover, it prevents muscle loss on lower caloric diet. Muscle loss decreases BMR which basically means your body will burn less calories during day. You can find even whole food sources of protein powders like chlorella and spirulina (though it tastes pretty bad). Other options are pea protein, maybe soy protein isolate. You can just add it to fruit/vegetable smoothie. Serving of protein powder (usually scoop added in package) provides around 20-25g of additional protein.

Wow, Thank you for the excellent tips!✨ ! It will be helpful to many people😊

@@Akane_Kato There's this theory in dietary science that hunger hormone will be elevated in the body until you satisfy adequate protein intake. So, in other words, body will not feel satisfied and seek for more food until it gets enough proteins. Adding 20-25g of protein to diet in form of protein shake might be like difference between day and night for people who are trying to control calories and lose weight. By the way, parchment paper and microwave is good hack. Lots of calories in diet can come from kitchen oils. 1 tablespoon of kitchen oil has 120kcal. If you use 2-3 tablespoons for frying, you're adding 360kcal to your meal. It's huge. Avoiding frying can be key factor to maintain or lose weight.
