Come with me on a long half marathon in North Wales, organised by Trail Events Company, starting near Rhyd-ddu and involving a full ascent and descent of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa).
It may have been July 2024, but the weather didn’t care - see how I coped with sun, wind, hail and driving rain!
I’m a middle-aged, UK trail runner who enjoys the countryside - why not come along with me as I explore new places and find out interesting stuff about them?
If you have any suggestions for runs I might try, or locations to explore, I'd love to hear from you - I always read all the comments on my videos.

Great video Julian I missed you at the start as we were all hiding in the tents due to the rain !! It certainly was a tough one, probably my hardest to date, I did fall twice on the rocks on the way down( black eye and bruised & grazed all over ) but got round. Sore calf's for the last two days, well done to everyone and the organisers, keep up the videos mate

@@MrArnie82 The first 2 miles (4k) had 1000ft (300m) ascent, so I walked most of that. Next 3 miles (5k) was mostly all running. Then Snowdon. Llanberis path is about 4miles (6-7k) and I hardly ran any of it. The descent - first part was just scrambling, but the final 3-4 miles was very runnable!
