15 MOM HACKS FOR SUMMER MORNING ROUTINES (with KIDS)

I have a love/hate relationship with summer routines. When the kids are on summer break from school I like our mornings to be more relaxed….I like to let the kids sleep in, I like to give them plenty of time to play and of course they love having the freedom to choose what they do with their time BUT….I’ve also learned without any kind of morning routine I end op with kids who get bored, who don’t pitch in around the house AND who can end up being grumpy from having too much screen time! So in today’s video I’m going to be sharing with you my tops tips and tricks when it comes to creating an easy and enjoyable summer morning routine.

Honestly wished I had more of a structured life growing up. My parents both work so growing up I was mostly at the babysitter place. So everyday was free time, watching t.v. or being bored out of my mind. At least I had my books to keep me company

I am just 13, but I am watching this for my 5 year old sis. Since I am basically her 2nd mom. I feed her, bathe her, play with her, put her to sleep, and teach her. Since she is going to kindergarten.

I usually wake up early and watch tv, about 3 hours later I go back to bed until lunchtime. It is very bad! :(

The EB Life yeah my brother is 5 and wakes up at like 6am naturally sometimes 8am but it’s so funny because everyone else in the house loves sleeping in.

Pretty similar to our routine...only difference, we do everything before breakfast....get dressed, make beds, comb hair, etc. only because by the time we are done eating, we don’t want to have to go back and do everything. We also combine breakfast and an educational video. Just to make the morning work go a little quicker. We do wait until after breakfast to brush teeth lol. My son also likes wii fit but he also loves go noodle. Since he is in cub scouts, he will be doing summer camp and I also enrolled him in a 4 week virtual summer camp through our school district. Swimming is also a huge part of the day as well. As far as his summer learning, his district uses I ready for their learning program so he does 20 minutes of math and 20 minutes of reading per day. Definitely different from our previous summers where our daily routine included trips to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Knotts Soak City and Raging Waters. But we are all making the best of it and your kids look like they are having a blast :)

Wow, your morning routines are so organized and clean. You should get your kids a “Nintendo Switch” with fitness games such as “Just Dance”, “Ring Fit Adventure” and stuff. That way they will have more fun with it.

I'd really like to see a video like this with what you did when your kids were toddlers. My son is a few months over one and he gets soooo grumpy and bored during the day but I just don't know what to do with him because he's so young. We play all the little hand games and read stories and play with his toys and then I don't know how to use the rest of the day. We nap and then I give into letting him watch TV while I try to cook dinner before my fiancé gets home. You're such a great mom and I'm glad you show so much of your life so that people like me can learn from you ❤ my parents weren't great ones and now I'm trying to learn to be a parent myself and I've learned everything from researching what the experts say and watching what other mom's do.

You’re the queen of organizing. My morning routine is just waking up at 9:30 and drinking coffee in bed while my dog naps next to me until like 10:30 and then he goes outside to sniff and get a bone and then i chase him around the house and then i get dressed and brush my teeth and somehow by then it’s lunch time.

I have a full day routine its Wake up at 2 pm check phone for (2 hours) Get u wash my face make breakfast eat breakfast brush the teeth shower Get changed in some comfy cloths then Netflix snacks then netflix tiktok then make dinner eat dinner Brush teeth again Change to pjs then on my phone till about 4 am Then sleep And I live alone life is good so far

I am currently babysitting a 4 and 12 year old during this summer and I wanna be more involved and organized with them. Just to make the summer impactful as the 4 year old is entering prek and 12 year old is entering middle school. These aee huge milestones and I wanna help guide them :)

Awe you used Andrea mills music whenever I hear it make me think about her! I have a summer checklist for my daughter too! Really helps her keep on task so she’s not on her iPad or playing roblox all day! I also have learning on there and separate reading time too! I love the brain quest summer workbooks!

Just Dance is another great tool to use on the Wii to get the kids active! They even have Disney editions with easy to learn dances for younger kids :)

can you make this, i saw it on tik tok. you need a tortilla, marshmallows, chocolate chips, and peanut butter. put that all in a tortilla and put butter in a pan on low. wrap the tortilla into a burrito and place it on the pan until brown! it’s so super yummy treat!💛
