My daughter was slow to get moving in the morning and usually forgot something. We purchased a white board and on the left side we wrote those things she needed to do at bedtime to prepare for the following day. On the right side we wrote things she needed to do in the morning. She loved checking things off the list, and it empowered her to be responsible. As she got older she didn’t need the lists, so we used the white board to write special messages to each of us.

I like all the different options for setting out clothes! Currently we pick out clothes night before, but don't always remember!

I’m in my 37th year of teaching and I still choose my clothing for the week and have them all in easy reach and organized by the day. This teacher is not a morning person and emails, texts and Class DoJo messages start coming in pretty early some mornings, so I like anything I can do do make things smoother. And I also have a launch pad. Mine now includes things I never dreamed . I never thought I would need to grab a mask and take my temperature before heading out the door. One thing I have recently added to my launch pad is a magnetic note pad that attaches to my door. There I put a note if I need to remember grab something out of the fridge for example.

I use hacks from your channel for living independently with ADHD. Everything is so bright and cheerful, and really does help (the ADHD brain stays motivated by instant gratification) I adore how you keep everything so fun yet simple to follow steps. I am a visual person; so everything low tech and with physical charts helps me out big time. (If I use organising apps on my phone, I’m too easily distracted by what else is on my phone) Having my clothes organised a week in advance, helps to make sure that I won’t overthink what I’m wearing on a morning. I also meal prep now. I returned to school after 16 years (6 months ago) so it helps to have my outfits and meals ready to go everyday. Thank You for your inspiration. #fudgiefam

We have a small entre, with a small end table like desk with one drawer, then a basket hanging for gloves and keys, and a key cabinet, lastly a small shoe organiser/bench for my daughter and I to sit our backpack for school ❤️

This has been tremendously helpful i feel like if I follow some of these my anxiety won't be so bad

Hi Jennifer! My grandson went back to public school this yr. We have been doing some of these things since Aug. We do the school clothes for the wk. He’s also in wrestling. We do those clothes for the wk also(just shorts & a T-shirt & a pr. of sweats. As we live in Iowa). We fill his water bottle every night before school with ice & water & put in the fridge so he can just grab in the mornings. We get the book bag with everything he needs ready & sit by the door the night before. We make sure all snow gear is dry & ready. I make breakfasts on Sat. or Sun. for the wk. Simple stuff that can be thrown in the toaster or micro. I make sure all laundry is done for selecting clothes for the wk. I always ck the weather when putting together clothes for the wk. We also make sure the house is picked up & dishwasher unloaded & load any dishes from the sink. Sinks cleaned out. And I go through the fridge every other wk. I meal plan for suppers every 2 wks also. Nothing crazy! Just meals that are easy in the Crockpot, pressure cooker, air fryer or oven. This has made all the difference for smooth mornings & wk days for us! Nobody wants to have their kids start their day with tears & yelling! Everyone has different needs. So whatever works for a family makes all the difference in moods for the wk! Thanks for this video & tips! Have a great wknd!😁

I have a dry erase calendar for my fridge that the whole family can see. I then put planner stickers on magnets to use on it, or I put them on card stock then putty them on!

Once my son is done with homework for the night, I take his backpack with his mask for the next day and extra masks clipped to it and out his backpack and jacket in the car so it’s ready to go for the next day. Now. I like the clothes idea. Like you said, certain times of year the weather can be unpredictable. the thought of me picking only five outfits. But I constantly DIG around my room trying to pair items together. My thought is, to know what ideas I have and have those items gathered together on an off day, to help with the week when I want to just shove an outfit on and go, it's definitely a great idea. Where I live for Christmas and New Years it was ABNORMALLY warm, Like, if you looked at the weather five days out it consistently called for nose dives, and the nose dives for weather just never happened. So I definitely would have to have like a long sleeve and short sleeve top in each bin along with long pants. And it snowed last night into this Friday morning, so I definitely wasn't planning for that at the start of this week. It wasn't even predicted the start of this week.
