I’am listening and want to share with my daughter. I cannot tell enough how meaningful this way of shaping or lives to things that are virtuous. There’s connections of ways to better live a more authentic life based on on learning. IAM 67 and recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. I had to learn to love myself as to heal. The problem was I didn’t know who I was. By taking little steps I began to change . I started reading anything and everything I could. As my addiction became manageable I wss as s able to release negativity through mindfulness, meditation. I was changing and liked it. If anyone is listening this lecture . It’s become my new religion. If you’re tired of emotional suffering listen to what this man is saying.

This is exactly what I needed today!❤ I am learning not to hold what others did to me against them anymore. They can only repeat the behaviors they were taught to them in life. As sad as it is, they will have unhealthy lives and bring others down because it is all they know. All we can do is pray for them to find God and peace in their lives. May God bless all of us.💞

Lesson 6 is very important. Our most problems start with unnecessary comparison with others. We always forget to understand that we are all different from each others in every aspect. We have different resources. We have different situations. We have different support. Until we are trying our best to be the best version of ourselves, we are doing good. Here I must mention that we have to teach this our children to make them a better person in the future. We must stop comparing out children with others in the school, sports or even at home. We must teach them to compare themselves with their past only.

Wow, I was meditating on these things this morning when I woke up, anger, constantly comparing myself with me, distance myself, and set boundaries with people. Then, when I turn on my morning ritual of listening to my daily teachings, this is part of the message. That's wild, but I guess I manifested these thoughts, and here they are playing out in front of me.

The comfort of knowing yourself better and improving our perspectives is priceless. The mind is the biggest part of how to live free from negativity. Change your mindset to suit your positive changes and all else falls in place with your faith in God's timing. I love this newness of stoicism in my life. It has saved me from alot of confusion. Thank you for your words of wisdom. I'm so grateful !! ❤

I was sitting here listen how did my morning coffee listen to you will see when you said failure it reminded me what I said a long time ago every time I say failure come in my life is just a setback for a comeback and I always turn around and look and feel like time cannot flow backwards in an hourglass keep moving😂😂😂 another good quote life is not like a Roman arena every time I go into a battle I don't know what's going to be the outcome other than I know I have to be in it so if I have to be in the battle I know I'm going to be in the battle so I got to do my best to try to win it

This was such a good video..Massive fan of this account. But this video was so informative and straight forward. I understand the references to the stoic legends but this videos is definitely the best 1. Has a viewer ive found it so much more understanding by just highlighting and explaining crucial points and not being side tracked with who said what had references. Hope that makes sense..Please do more content of this nature. Its so much more simplified. Thank you🤗💕

FEEDBACK: Great message from antiquity and visuals plus sub-titles add to the message. To improve further, instead of the 'old-time movie effect' with big blotches splattered on the screen, a much more subtle, foggy effect would be better and I saw it on some of the graphics already. Use that. And the A.I. renderings of Greek statues definitely need prompt engineering to represent men & women of different ages & body types, instead of solely displaying the ballooned body-builder physique of today, which is 95% of your images.

Lesson 5 : diplomacy is rarely frank. Truth sometimes needs to say negative feelings about someone without blaming her. Don’t confuse feelings with judgment. Lesson 7: your story can’t be compared with others stories because we all have our own way. Sharing ideas on social networks doesn’t mean that what you say is your story but only and observation. TedX conferences aren’t a live social network where people come to express their stories among an audience? Lesson 9: when you never pronounce the names and the circumstances of a relationship, there none risk of gossips. Lesson 10: expectations are a wrong way to build a safe relationship otherwise how to walk side by side on the same way at the same time? Lesson11: when some words seem to be too strong or inappropriate for you, tell to the person why she says that so tough. Sometimes some tough words can better illustrate a situation instead of diplomatic words. Beware of diplomatic mercenaries, they are mostly fake than authentic. Lesson 14: being authentic is also a honest way to tell your qualities and flaws. It’s not being negative, it’s truth. Tu ou are not responsable of what people get and keep. Lesson 15: same as #14. We are made of black&white experiences that build us. Appearing like a wonder immaculate person is a lie. Yin&yang person is made of both good and bad attitudes, probably the et best way of growing in consciousness.

If you only focus on yourself, how can you clean your inside scares without talking to selected persons able to hear and understand you. By the way, the best way to express yourself is talking face to face and probably not through internet opened to the world. So you can’t complain of a lack of privacy in what you express.
