Hey ladry r it was a fail because you didnt beat the egg whitw enough you whisked them ideally u need to use an electric hand mixture in high they must be stiff enough so u can turn the bowl upside down and they don't spill out only then do u fold them gentle into the other ingredients. Maybe it will be 3rd time lucky lol px

I would recommend next time you make pizza , put the basil on the pizza once the pizza is cooked.(so it does not get brown, and the flavour remains like fresh basil) Same with the drizzle of olive oil. Greetings from Spain!

Thanks for the tip! Yea the basil was burnt to a crisp lol xx

BBC Good Food, Best Ever Tiramisu. I use that recipe and it comes out perfect every time. Double cream whisked up and added to the mascarpone, and it's nice and thick, no eggs! Please try this one, I promise it will come out perfect. 😊

New to your channel, been binging your videos! I'm jealous, here in the US, there is truly nowhere I could find your prices. Probably no one could anywhere here. But you are inspiring me to stretch what I have and concentrate on ways to do better. I'd love to see the weekly shop for the cat!

Your hair looks great. A change is go sometimes :) sorry to hear you lost your Mum P.S the bowl and utensils must be free from grease before you whisk egg whites otherwise they will never become stiff peaks with any signs of yoke or grease on surfaces. Acid helps too. So a touch of vinegar or cream of tartar

Nice job with the shopping. Hubby and I often get 2 Co-op surprise grocery bags thru the Too Good To Go app £6.58 total often for £40-45 worth of groceries that will last us the week. We spend more on food for our 3 cats (two of whom are on special diets, including Arthur) than we do on ourselves. 😹

Can leave meat in the freezer indefinitely, providing it hasn't defrosted in said freezer. Its just the quality will be different, freezer burn ECT. But it's perfectly safe so long as cooked thoroughly. Love the hair. X

Hi there. It was nice to hang out while you cooked and shopped, your videos are very entertaining, so thanks for that. Just a note about whipping egg whites for the tiramusu. Like some of your other commenters said - you need to whip them until they form a stiff foam. That's because whipping hard denatures the protein (changes the structure of the protein) in the egg in same way that cooking changes the protein. So no amount of leaving it to set will work. That's going to be tricky to achieve without an electric whisk i'm afraid.

I’ve never been to Italy but I’d love to go I’ve been to other countries but I have a long bucket list of destinations I’d like to go to. You can buy a cheap hand mixer for about £8 Argos/ supermarkets etc love tiramisu but yeah mix until eggs are like thicker and peaked. I’d prefer your hair longer than you normally have it but shorter than the extensions, you suit shorter hair but it’s nice. I get a mixed bag of shopping too :) 😻
@BudgetFoodieUK24 күн бұрын

Get yourself an electric hand whisk, I’ve had one from Tesco for about £5 10 years ago and it’s still perfect. Love the hair it suits you. Great food haul, I am same with clothes & household stuff I either buy cheapest, or bargains on the best stuff lol. Lidl have 2 little tiramisu for £1.10.
@BudgetFoodieUK25 күн бұрын
I am straight down to Lidl for this tiramisu lol! I totally need a proper whisk xx

Your videos are so much fun! I admire your style - your hair looks great both long and short. With the chicken, let it thaw for a day in the refrigerator. I put mine in a zip lock bag with some seasoning and allow it to marinate for a day or two. Then pop it in the oven and it will come out perfect. You can use it in salads or eat it by itself. I say give up on the tiramisu and buy one in the store - it looks like too much fuss. Keep up the good work; your videos are the best!!!!!

The posh, cheap pizza looks great! I often do regular store brand pizza but never the cheaper ones. Might give one a go and add my own topping, too. And my shop sometimes does look like yours - posh, regular and yellow ticket all at once! 😂 The hair is different but nice! I've had very short hair for a few years and have recently been thinking about getting a wig. Sometimes it's nice to change things up a bit. :)

The hair looks gorgeous and suits you very well. It's absolutely fine to cook any food from frozen and technically any meat can live forever in a freezer but according to health and safety standards, they're best to be consumed within 9-12 months. You really do need electric beaters to get the right consistency for the tiramisu custard, it's very difficult to get to this thickness with a regular whisk ♥
@BudgetFoodieUK25 күн бұрын
The whisk was a definite fail lol xx ok fab good to know! Xx
