What a crazy week! 15th week of pregnancy is under our belts and what a week it was. We found out the gender, which was an emotional rollercoaster. We had our 2nd OB visit with a midwife, heard the heartbeat again, and did everything to get rid of this constant headache.

Hi Heather, congratulations on your pregnancy, I wish you all things well as you move along. I very much like your matter of fact, and fun(!), explanation of all that is going on and look forward to your next videos! Re the headaches, keep with the warmth, shower, neck sock, and drink warm water. Also for the Mg and K, try eating a banana every other day or so. On the indigestion issue, stay away from caffeine and greasy things like chocolate as these relax the muscle and contribute to reflux. When you do your belly shot, could you suck in when you do the front and side shots, some girls do this, and I think it is really cool to see how the baby is lying. Kind regards, nette

Thank you so much for posting this. Thank you to all the women who also commented. I’m 15 weeks pregnant, and my headache started yesterday. It wasn’t horrible but definitely the worst headache I’ve ever had. It’s on my left side and feels like it’s throbbing. It’s like that today too. I took Tylenol yesterday but I’m trying not to take it today. Called my dr. This made me feel better. I was about to break down crying.

I thought i was the only one!!!! I feel those same headaches! It makes me want to cry! Lord it makes me feel better to know that I’m not the only one! Everything your feeling I’m feeling cravings and all so i do hope I’m having a boy as well! I been feeling the baby move since i was 13 weeks it’s a weird little feeling but amazing. I am definitely experiencing horrible migraines this pregnancy, a lot of trouble keeping prenatal down, I wake up a lot at night to pee , my boobs hurt awful and also pelvic pressure but I am now 20 weeks plus. Praying to God these migraines settle I’ve had them like the entire pregnancy !

Hi! I know your comment is from a year ago - but out of interest did you have migraines from when you woke up? I’m worried sick about it being something more serious as from 12 weeks onwards I’ve heard such horrible headaches from the moment I open my eyes. Also really bad pelvic pressure the whole pregnancy! Finally someone with similar symptoms. I’d love to know how you got on the rest of your pregnancy?

Thank you so much! We had just redone it before we got pregnant and love it! My husband had built the headboard for me and the furniture him and I refinished with chalk paint. Fun little projects. Next up the rest of the house :)

And I was kind of worrying because I'm 15 weeks and not showing very much at all (first baby) so it's nice to see other first moms just to make me feel more comfortable that I'm moving along fine. I find out in a few days what the gender of mine will be! I cant wait to just see it with the ultrasound and know that it's doing ok in there!!!

I'm 15 weeks 4 days today. I woke up with a headache this morning. Although, I blamed it on my allergies because I was so stuffed up. It actually made my stomach upset. I haven't thrown up since 7 weeks. Anyway, I read that allergies hits hard when you're pregnant, so.

Yes I get headaches a lot now. Never had them as often as I do now. And I don’t take Tylenol because I don’t want to take medicine during pregnancy 😭 oh and I’m 15 weeks too. I’ve noticed I get them more on the days that I go to work. I take my prenatal immediately before bed.

Same I'm on week 3 of lingering headache this the 1st week I've taken tylenol 3 days back to back and I feel like it's to much. I tried my doc gave me zyrtec and amoxicillin and nothing gets rid of it... wish me luck!

unfortunately i have to wait till i’m 20 weeks pregnant to find out the gender ☹️ i’m currently 15 weeks & two days so far i’ve had every single symptoms in the book all of them & those round ligament pains omg so painful there’s times i can’t even get up & walk but at the end everything will be all worth it due date is january 23 2021🤞🏼 hope the rest of the mommies have a beautiful & safe delivery 💖

Hello, I’m 12 weeks pregnant... before pregnancy I suffered from migraines and I have migraines sometimes rn but I can’t have anything to relieve them, and I don’t really want to have any medicines... do you have any remedies that might help and won’t hurt my baby ???? I’ve tried a cold wet towel on my forehead and it helps a little but just when it’s on

I’m 15 weeks pregnant. I had a headache yesterday. I measured my blood pressure and it was VERY low. (Systolic 80) So I just exercised and that helped a LOT. …I guess coffee can also help, but I didn’t want to drink caffeine in the afternoon. Drinking water can also help with low blood pressure. BUT while lying down feels like the thing to do when you have a headache, it makes this type of headache worse. …at least for me.

I take the same nature made prenatals. I take it at night though bc in beginning of my pregnancy I had slight nausea but I'm fifteen weeks now nausea has been gone I think I can take it in morning now.

Kristine Rojas I’m entering my 2nd trimester and read this on my app below. Hope this helps. “So it’s progesterone again, which causes your blood vessels to relax and widen around 12 weeks pregnant, increasing the flow of blood to your baby (again, good for baby), but slowing the return of blood to you (as always, not so good for mom). lower blood pressure and reduced blood flow throughout your body, including to your brain. These factors can contribute to that light-headed, dizzy feeling - especially when you get up too quickly. Another cause of dizziness during pregnancy is low blood sugar levels, which can occur if you're not eating regularly. So don't try to run…or even walk…on empty.”

I have a tension headache on one side my head it creeps down to my eyeball then lingers back to my shoulder and neck. I do have high blood pressure but it’s not eh same kind of headache. Since I’ve been prego- 12weeks- tomorrow. I haven’t had a good nights sleep. 🛌 I need sleep- almost tempted to take a sleep aid.

I’m having a boy too. The gender reveal was insane! The ultrasound tech told me and then I texted my family and told them! I know it’s crazy...but to all of you out there thinking you have to sit around and color Easter eggs with a bunch of people just to find out the gender of a baby, I’m here to tell you otherwise! Nothing is “proven” but they have done tests so we were told. For me I’d rather not take anything if I try other ways first.

gingy pants yea I totally agree. I won't use it at all. I wonder if it also applies to after the baby is born or just as it is developing in utero... I love that you're a nurse, I've watched a bunch of pregnancy vlogs, but from a nurse you are giving a ton of good ideas on your natural solutions and other well informed vlog. This is my 3rd pregnancy and the headaches!!!! 🤕 I do not take medication and my doctor knows that but I’m on two just to get rid of these headaches!! I’m 15weeks today. I’ve had them since 12weeks I’ve gotten them 4 times a day.. like it’s terrible...I also didn’t stop anything with caffeine. I love water and prefer that over any other drink even before pregnancy. So idk I just don’t have a reason for these they are so frustrating.

Hi Heather, i wonder if you’re having low BP during this pregnancy?! I’m so done with headaches (18 weeks today) and my midwife keeps telling its because of my low Blood pressure. TIA

Actually yes!!! My BP was on the lower side! 95/60ish

My bp is perfect. But i have bben having the worst headaches ever. Litteraly couldnt function for days. Have been to the doctor and Everything seemes fine . I really dont know what is causing these headaches i guess its just one of those symptoms.

I am 15 weeks with a baby boy and headaches dont stop!!!!!!!! With my first pregrancy i didnt have any! Its so weirf every day 4 until 10 at night then it stops

omg that stinks! I hope it gets better for you! try to stay hydrated, i know that was so hard for me to do.... allowing myself one cup of caffeine i found to help also. Try some peppermint oil on your temples too!

@@gingypants thank you!!! I drink half of cup of coffee daily too and it helps a bit ! I will try peppermint too! Hope they will stop soon 😟😓

you got gender reveal at 15 weeks? my doc said I need to wait till 20 weeks..!

Don’t mind the profile pic... my son🙄 but yes you can find out what your having before 20 weeks if you do the blood test for the chromosomes defects. I found out I’m having a girl and I’m 15 weeks and 2 days😊

Actually you can find out before that without a blood test. Because of a scheduling issue, my 12 week ultrasound was pushed back until I was 14 weeks 3 days. The tech said if baby is in the right position you can see that early on! This tech is old and has been doing it for years so she knew what she was doing! She kept pushing lightly on my belly til baby uncrossed their legs and boom! There was his little winky 😂 they just say that because of the way ultrasounds are scheduled, people don’t normally find out until their 18 or 20 week scan. Since you’ll have a 12 week scan then not come back til around 18 weeks or so

I am 10 weeks preg and these headaches are just so horrible 😓😓 I don’t have any another symptoms no cravings no sickness just these headaches 😓😓😰 I drink like 4l of water a day , I have ‘ special’painkillers that looks like a powder from the doc but it doesn’t help 😖😖😖😪
