We are officially 16 weeks pregnant! A full 4 months have flown by. We had such a busy week with our little baby-to-be's first wedding and his first concert. We also started "shopping" for things which was so much fun, but so overwhelming. My husband and I discussed bonding with the baby and it was a real eye-opening conversation.

thank you so much for sharing about bonding through your thoughts. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and I have felt weird thinking of talking out loud but i definitely have thought many things to my baby boy, like good morning little man and so on... LOL

I know this is an old video, but I'm at 15.5 weeks, and TOTALLY get the itchiness! My skin has been crazy with this pregnancy with weird blemishes. Btw,I love your channel, have watched ALL of them, and really appreciate your personality and humour! Keep up the videos, you are def a favourite of mine, here in Canada 😁

I didn't talk to my first as much and my hubby asked why I didn't sing or talk to my baby. It seemed silly I did, but in private, but I've read your moods effect the baby so you are emotionally communicating to your baby too and that counts for something!

Thank you for this reply (makes me feel better 😉) I’m 25 weeks now and still feel I don’t talk out loud a lot but i am starting to say “hey baby boy” and rub my belly! The kicks and movements are so much stronger and more frequent😍

I know this video is from April but watching this really goes to show how different pregnancy is for every women. My bump popped at 13 weeks and I started buying maternity clothes at 14 weeks. I'll be 16 weeks on September 12th! Also, you gained a new subscriber :)

My bump popped at 13/14 weeks as well. I was on holiday when it happened, so I left looking normal and came back with a bump!

I never talk really directly to the baby when it’s in my stomach with any of my pregnancies I guess 🤔 maybe sometimes but I don’t really think that it means your bonding less. I did put music close to my stomach sometimes lol

You are such a good wife. I would of been mad at my husband for coming at me like that. It's my baby. Of course I want to bond with my baby, and the baby will hear your voice regardless. Does it mean you need to direct conversation at the baby? Not really. You can, but that doesn't mean surefire bond.

I definitely could have directed my emotions to anger but not doing that makes things so much easier 😁 trying to keep up with these hormones before things come out of my mouth that I’ll regret is definitely a challenge at times haha
