Salt and minerals are legal here on public land, so I dumped 50 pounds this summer in hopes of getting good trail cam pics. Didn't think I'd come back and shoot a 10 point! Setup was sketchy, deer were picking me off pretty quick. Managed to sneak a double lung shot on one of 3 bucks that came straight down the pipe.

Congrats on a fine buck. I took my first deer with a bow this year, young spike. First time ever bow hunting, first arrow at a deer. The feeling was awesome. And I'm 61.

Self filming is hard by itself but when you have 3 bucks at 15 yards, one already has you pegged , you have to draw your bow, and you get the kill shot on video. That's impressive!! Great video catman!

I only hunt with my kids these days...you can image the crinkling we do! It is a rare hunt that we don't get busted. All my kids (6) are familiar with the stomp/blow. Great videos, keep them coming.

Nice first buck of the season. Lot’s going on in your sight picture but you were able to make a quality shot. Bucks surprise you sometimes after great shot placement, he did travel a bit. Good luck the rest of the season.
