Fernando González Llort was part of the legendary Cuban espionage network "Wasp Network," which infiltrated terrorist networks in Miami in the 1990s, some of which had carried out explosive attacks on Cuba's tourist infrastructure. After a conviction in the USA under highly questionable conditions, which had been criticized multiple times by the UN Human Rights Commission, he was released in 2014 and returned to Cuba. He is now the chairman of the Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and recently visited Germany in that capacity. In an interview with Florian Warweg, he discussed his intelligence mission in the USA, the role of German solidarity with Cuba, the reasons for Washington's ongoing obsession with the Caribbean island, the effects of the over 60-year-old US embargo, the prospects for a US withdrawal from the illegally occupied Guantanamo region, and geopolitical shifts. He also provided comprehensive and unvarnished insights into the reasons and impacts of the severe economic and social crisis currently being experienced in Cuba.

Wonderful Pascal. Thank you for bringing us the news of let's say "un/forgotten" countries. MORE please of the effects on countries of sanctions and blockades. We need to hear THIS although they seem echoed across every country the USA has contact with.😮

I do not watch any video where the comments are turned off, for example your last video. Sorry.

Ok, but have some patience. The podcaster may have some very good reason for turning off comments. As podcaster he/she is responsible for the program, and maybe that isn't always easy for them. (Yoo toob looms over them, over their shoulder as it were). In any case, you can always submit a comment on a subsequent show, if you feel you need to give your opinion on a subject. As you in fact have done.

@@soniavadnjal7553 Well not really, he said he didn't turn it off, but as we know many comment or channel that critical to middle east are getting their comment shadowbanned or suppresed, maybe because they aren't fit to narratives of the state dept 😏, but who knows, any social media that didn't follow this, will get tiktok treatment 😬

YT has been turning off comments on MANY vids and even when the vloggers turn it back on, they STILL turn it off AGAIN.
