@@notapplicable328 made in the country of China in a American owned and operated facility with American and Asian luthiers..you left that part out ..and let's test your intelligence what's the difference between epiphone with American and Asian luthiers and Gibson with American and Mexican luthiers..tell us I already know the answer NOTHING is different

@@notapplicable328 Gibson uses lots of veneer...Gibson's semi-hollowbodies like the ES-335 and ES-339 have tops and backs constructed of layers (either 3 or 4) of maple veneer. My understanding is that the veneers are assembled in successive cross-grain layers with the top layer having its grain longitudinal to the length of the guitar. The tops and backs are approximately 1/4" in thickness after layup.

Amazing that they didn't choose to do the Casino as one of the anniversary models. It's arguably their most famous guitar due to the Beatles connection.

I used to have a late '50s Epi Windsor, that had one of those New Yorker pickups. As near as I could tell, the pickup surrounds appeared to be ivory. Nice that they're brought back for these reissues, but I can't imagine that ivory was used. Or was I mistaken about those original surrounds?

It's kind of sad how epiphone became gibson's budget line. Besides the casino there really weren't that many models available. They had some thinlines a while ago but for a company with such a rich history it's kind of sad.

It truly is sad, but that’s what usually happens when one company buys out another. Considering Gibson’s record with buying other companies I guess Epiphone is lucky it’s still around at all.

Epiphones aren't budget anymore.. epiphone was never meant to be a budget brand in the first place Norlin ruined them when they took over Gibson..2019 JC Curliegh Restored Epiphone back to where they should have always been

How are viewers feeling about the pricing of these, given Chinese production? I want that Crestwood Custom so bad but can get a Fender American Pro for a similar price in Australia.

Well concidering the Epiphone Quindoe Epiphone facility is completely American owned and operated Scott Lewis is the facility manager along with American and Asian luthiers its also state of the Art the vast majority don't care where the building sits an American owned building at that

Years ago this was hands down the best guitar channel around. What happened? What’s up with the grim basement location, the useless jams nobody cares about? And I’m sorry but these guys don’t cut it. Bring back the Baumans and the Pollards ffs.
