The only decent track is DeSoto in Shreveport and everyone's into jacked up SxS and 4 wheelers so anyone that had a bike ends up selling it, can't get their asking price so they drop it til it sells. Also only pay MSRP on new 110s and people sell pre 2010 110s for under $200. Just sucks not having anywhere to ride daily

Got a 93 kx500 local just out driving day I got my new truck years ago and saw it for sale for $900. Bought my ironically same year cr500 for $1600 and had original plastics and about 10 hours on it. I could accordingly made about a million off of both now. Good snag on that 2011 too.

@Dan W you can't even buy an 500 engine (that needs top and bottom end and who knows what else) for less than $1000 on its own. That guy getting an 07 RM250 was F'n cheap, 05-07 was based on the YZ250 for carmichawl to ride supercross in 2005, the engine felt like a yamaha and so did the frame and chassis, however the forks and shock weren't as good as a yamaha. The SSS forks on thr YZ's starting in 06 to now are the best stock fork IMO, they're amazing. Wish I could find some steals, I'd flip them. Now that I quit racing 250 and 450 A in arenacross, I want a new YZ250 smoker. I've always rode 2 strokes better and plus they're a blast

Sweet ride

This doesn't relate at all with buying a brand new bike every year but I'm gonna share anyways. I've been riding since 8 yrs old. When I turned 10 my dad left (for the 2nd time long story) and sold all 3 of the bikes my mom bought for us. I hadn't found out until now though that I was planned to finally start racing moto the very next year after years and years of being infatuated with racing. My brother had got to race quads when he was 5-7 (he's 3 years older than i) before they split the first time. He always had his old trophies and pictures with dad when he was still my age yet of them together on their bike and quad. I never got the chance to make those memories or ever have a nice bike. Over the years I scraped my own stuff together to get my own ride. I got a 02 xr80 for about 550 bucks then sold it and traded my Xbox and 100 cash for this 05 crf100f that I rode from 12-15 and beat the hell out of. 17 comes by and I finally got my own "real" bike again. I say real because I liked moto and race bikes not 4 stroke trail bikes but two wheels was two wheels and it was all I could afford but back to 17 I finally saved up during this covid market to pick up an 01 cr125r which I put about 3k into so far. I've completely tore that bike down and redid it. Now I'm 18 and can happily say I will be financing my first ever brand new dirtbike in the spring and it feels good knowing I did it all myself for myself all these years. I may not be able to afford to throw 11k at the dealer every year but I can afford to pay on this 450 for 3 years!
