Todd reviewing an Arcade1Up??! I'm in shock. I have the SF2 one. It was their first generation of cabinets. The first control panels overlay disintegrated with average use. The buttons and joystick were not very good. I replaced all the buttons and did some other mods. To their credit, they are getting better and better making these tiny affordable units. I would still prefer a full size unit, but I just don't have the space.

The shot straight up the middle in Black Rose is really great. I knew they were ‘jet bumpers’ but I always thought that was just marketing speak for pop bumpers.

You need a special Soundeffekt for "Full bridge rectifier" like ElectroBOOM :)

I LOVE Arcade1up. Thank you for spreading the word. They are great for small spaces. Of course they aren't as good as the originals, but they are very good for what they are.

In their defense, the 1ups are built to a price point and aren't made to stand up to public abuse. For what they are and cost, they're ok

Hi Todd, I hope you can help me. I have a 1992 Bally Black Rose just like the one in your video #1593 . I have had it for about 8 years now. I love it. The problem I have with it now is when I turn on the switch underneath, it comes on as it should, Puts a ball up and I send it to the play surface. When I touch the flipper it resets every time. what can I do. I plan on putting new bulbs in it soon from you , but i want to get this reset fixed first. Love your videos. Thanks

Those buttons and joystick switches break if you actually play the game for any length of time.

Would love that neo geo cabinet, but a lot of them has shot up in price in these past few years. so my Arcade 1UP Galaga/Galaxian combo is doing the job for me, until i can afford a MVS

Was actually just looking through your library a few weeks ago and was amazed you had never done a video on Black Rose in your giant back catalog. Too bad it wasn't a full shop out so you could have gone into more detail. Game dose get a little repetitive with all the video modes. But I still think overall it's great. Too bad you didn't sink a ship, it has a great light show and musical touch when you get it.

Hi everyone, I have a Back Rose Pinball and when I plug it to AC I hear a sound comming from the Main Speaker but no light turn on at all. Where I need to check first ? is there a Fuse or something easy to look first ? Regards

Thumper bumper, jet bumper, pop bumpers are all the same. Each company had their own trademark name for them. Wolfie is mistaken. Bally called them thumpers, William's called them jets, Gottlieb called them pops. Sega and Data East used the "pop" terminology when they formed.

Think I'm this far back from watching vids. I really can't stand political ads from either side Yotuube didn't use to have them. Now yuck.
