This ambulance turned van-bulance has become the perfect oasis on wheels for Jachus & Gabriella, a couple who have traveled full-time for the past two years. The couple work full-time as commercial insect breeders! Gabriella had always dreamed of traveling the U.S. in a "bug car," & Jachus dreamed of traveling while looking for bugs, but they didn't think it would be possible until after they got married. Eventually, they realized there was no reason to wait & decided to purchase their home on wheels.
Their ambulance features a rustic-style kitchen with a double-sided sink, mini stove/oven, & an abundant amount of counter space. Also found in their kitchen are a few treasured personal features, such as their gifted magnetic knife rack & knives made by Gabriella's brother. Their rig has a fixed bed & a pullout dinette where they eat all their meals together. Of course, we can't forget the abundant amount of bug display cases Gabriella & Jachus carry, which help them showcase their passion for collecting insects. I think it’s impressive that even with your uncommon jobs you make it work while living on the road. You guys seem to have confidence in who you are and what you want. You’ve done a nice job tailoring your ambulance home to your specific lifestyle.

I to thought more like 50k so when they said 15k including purchase of vehicle, I was awed. For us we'd like to travel somewhere warm/sunny during cold months in Canada's east coast. We're getting to old for the cold but in summertime months its beautiful land. And theres always new things to discover about our own country. So this would be ideal for us and this ambulance one is by far the best one we've seen. Kudos to you both on a job well done, and ty for sharing with us all. ❤

We are retired and looking at all options. I love your whole set up. You may rethink having a family in a small home. It could work with one child, but for your mental well being, buy a home and when you retire, hit the road again.

I have noticed that many vehicle dwellers, RV, campers, car lifestylers, have a Safety concern about people approaching their vehicles when they are sleeping, or just inside of their vehicle. To assist with your Awareness for your vehicle, There may Be the option to utilize and install a camera system outside of your vehicle. How to Do this... There are RV backup camera systems available including online including Amazon Some systems include 1 or multiple cameras in a set, about 4 and may include a visual display monitor. Some of these Backup camera systems include this separate video display monitor, to view all of the installed cameras, and some of these monitors include various multiple functions, including a recording features, dvr type functions and touch screen display, among other functions. Your cameras can Be utilized to view around your entire vehicle, including front, rear and sides. The cost I have seen has been around low 2 hundred and mid 3 hundreds, prices may vary. I have actually seen this shown online where the system was installed and a entire 360 degree view was available on a RV. Please Do your own research on the Best options for you. You would likely need to insure it as an RV. Contact State Farm and call multiple brokerages because each one is independently owned and insures different things.
