Been pushing for the past 3 years and I just made the school team. I practice pitching clinics at 365, the same place where Stroman did as a kid, and I’m always last out because I stay to practice more then the others. I love practicing and even more, preforming better then others!

I do the same thing, but i wake up at 7:30... Get out of school at 4:30, and get home from bp at 6:30 THen i go home and practice. Aka learning new stuff and practicing it.

Separation from the pack, not doing what your friends are doing is a great way to achieve at a high level. We had a saying when I was like this about ball back in my day, "everyone can't go!" What are you willing to sacrifice to continue up through the levels, this kid has that right type of attitude. It will serve him well inside and outside of sports. I love young guys like this, good luck and good health to him and his family!

I have seen so many great players and you scratch your head to wonder...how did this guy not make it. I have player with some major leaguers, minor leaguers and college players. The path to the majors is like becoming a rock star....perfect timing and the right place at the right time. Tons of guys put in the time and have the tools and never sniff the majors. BTW at 3:15 you threw your infielder a curve ball. Good luck young man.
