Sometimes we tend to forget Marissa due to not being a sibling. She is broken as well. I know the family loves her.

What brought me to tears was how she described his feelings towards each of his remaining siblings. She didn’t only talk about her relationship with him, but his relationships with everyone that he loved.

Not only can you tell from this speech that their relationship was pure, that they were definitely soulmates, and that she will forever remember him but you can tell how much he loved her. My heart hurts for everyone in the family and friends who are mourning this loss.

What a sweet girl, I can see why Christopher loved her, any good-hearted young man would. I’m so glad they got time together, even if it was so short. She’s so lovely to talk about everyone and how much Christopher loved his family. She really showed us all how good his souls is. I hope she lives a good life and can come to have peace with this tragedy.

Lord I'm crying like a baby seeing those 3 caskets and hearing Marissa's eulogy. She did spectacular under such a sad and stressful time. She was funny and strong and brave. She brought some of Chris' personality and mannerisms to life. Clearly he was being raised right and was a chivalrous, warm hearted, and very thoughtful young boy. I will never understand why things like this happen to good people, young people. But his family and friends are clearly better people having had him in their life for 17 years.

I hope she is embraced by everyone who loves her & still remains close to Chris' family. I will never understand why such horrific events happen, especially to innocent young people. I've never heard a eulogy like this...10 minutes of a sad little girl reminiscing about all of the good times she's had with, not her boyfriend, it doesn't sound like that. Her best friend, her soulmate. She truly loved him; and to lose someone that close to you, at that young of an age, their lost loved one being equally young, in such a horrifically senseless way. So many of her memories with him involve the other two sisters who were lost, as well. Man... I know she'll get better; she's young and she'll heal with time and help. But still. This is so devastating; it will always just _be_ there. I don't understand how someone could risk hurting people in such a profound way, as opposed to simply not driving when you could've gotten a damn Uber. I know he lost his life as well, and that is horrible. But _look_ what _his_ poor choice did to people who had _nothing_ to do with him and never should've felt any effects.

Katie, seeing you rub her shoulder when she breaks down a little just makes me cry. I see how much you love her and listening to her talk about Christopher just breaks my heart. She really loved him even at her young age. They say young teens don't know what love is, but that's not the case here at all.

What a beautiful love story between two young lovers. She will never forget him. He was her "soulmate"!

My heart hurts for her... When I was sixteen my boyfriend got run over by a semi when his car broke down on the side of the interstate... Almost 40 years later and I still think about him to this day. My prayers go out to this whole family.

I found myself cheering her on as she went and tears are streaming down my face as their shared jokes are also such treasured memories. I thank the Simmons family for sharing this such challenging time in life. I know people who will benefit from the message even though I know it is hard to share… and to hear. I lost a loved one to a drunk driver and I almost lost my own life while pregnant to a drunk driver. I walked away and My baby came a few months later. My car was totaled; the front engine was completely gone. Everyone around me was in disbelief. My condolences to all of you...I pray for healing and God truly blessed you all with a beautiful family. Such strength it takes to become closer in a time of heartache.

I hate this for her😥. I wrote my fiances eulogy when he passed away suddenly because his parents just couldnt function understandably, so i tried to take care of as much as i could..it was the most heart wrenching thing ive ever done. It was so endearing to speak of him so sweetly and innocently. She represented their lives together as being so light and full of fun and not concerned with growing up too fast (like so many young people do these days). I love that she spoke of the many traits she loved about him from being silly and goofy to caring and responsible. She did a wonderful job of sharing parts of his personality that stood out to her and should be so proud of herself for maintaining such composure during this incredibly difficult situation. My heart is heavy for this family, I can’t begin to know what losing a loved under such traumatic circumstances would be like. My heart and mind can’t wrap any kind of understanding around losing 3 in this way. I wish I could wrap them all up in a loving hug and try in anyway possible to ease even the smallest bit of their pain.
