I've NEVER cried over a family I've never met. I experienced one loss in my life that crushed my whole soul. My sweet pappaw he didn't leave tragically either. I miss him dearly and still cry and try to figure out life with him gone. I would say that time heals everything because it really don't. You just learn to cope with your new life. You are forever changed. I can't imagine the pain the friends and family feels. WE PRAY FOR YOU ALL DAILY. Yall will never be alone during this tragic loss as you have the whole country behind yall! These friends are truly amazing and to be able to stand there and pour out their hearts of love to their friends and their family are the most beautiful way to express their feelings of love. I experienced a similar situation when I was 16 years old, coming home from friends in 1970 at about 1.30am night before EASTER with my parents and younger brother. We were harrast by a guy in his car by the time it all ended my dad had a heart attack with us in the car and passed away. The guy in the other car had been drinking from the beginning of the day was sent home from work cause he went to work drunk and still drunk at 1.30am. Nothing was done to him, police said that they don't see it happen Nothing they could do. I ASK ANY ONE WHO THINKS THEY HAVE TO DRINK TO PLEASE DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!

i remember being at work when i got a news notification about this. my stomach dropped when i read the article. i don’t know this family but being from Louisiana i hear way too often about drunk drivers killing people here. the amount of crosses on the side of our roads is astonishing and we constantly add new ones. i’m so sorry y’all have had to experience this. watching your videos now as a sister and new mom i’m torn apart i cannot stop crying. my brother was also hit crossing the street by a drunk driver who fled the scene. my brother was airlifted to Oschner LSU shreveport with a c4 fracture, spleen lacerations, brain bleeding, and when i got there they had him in a coma. so in a way i understand and i’m thankful y’all are sharing your story because we need to hear it.

I came across this story on KZfaq. I have been watching the video of this horrible accident and loss. I never had children so, I can’t even imagine the loss this family feeling. Tho, I know loss well. What so comforting about this is the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing they been together again.

This tribute eulogy is beautiful it’s like they say life through her eyes and it’s beautiful because that means she touched their souls. My heart truly breaks for your family . In 1994 I almost lost my parents and 2 of my siblings because of a drunk driver . I watched my brother pronounced passed away as I happen to just be two cars behind along with the other sibling to learn it was my family but the lord spared my family that night and I’m greatful but my heart breaks so bad because they are just babies and never even got to live life!
