2 жыл бұрын1600 liter NATURE AQUARIUM of 300x75x75cm scaped 3 weeks ago (16.09.2021) at Esther's Garden for Vivarium exhibition in the Netherlands, end of November.
Hardscape: driftwood
Soil: Old soil, JBL Volcano powder, last layer of Prodibio Aquagrowth soil. Gravel G-Series by Prodibio and river sand by JBL.
CO2: Pressurized CO2 with inline JBL diffuser
Filter: 2x Oase biomaster 850 and 2 extra circulation pumps.
Lights: AquaIllumination Freshwater Prime, 12h day, ramp 1h for sunrise and sunset.
Aquaflora plants:
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Mini', Bacopa caroliniana (amplexicaulis), Bacopa crenata (monnieri), Juncus repens, Lilaeopsis 'Novea-Zealandiae', Ludwigia arcuata, Microsorum pteropus 'Petit', Myriophyllum mattogrossense, Proserpinaca palustris 'Cuba', Rotala rotundifolia, Rotala rotundifolia 'H'ra', Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice', Rotala species 'Green' and Vesicularia montagnei 'Christmas'.

It's unbelievable how much energy you have! It's so difficult to scape a tank of this size by bending over...but you did it! It's going to be maintenance friendly as well. The scape looks mind blowing! Words can't describe. Love to see the improvisation and changes you made as final touch. Looks like a vast area with loads of open spaces and depth!

That was not the tough part of this tank... Dismount the 5 years old scape, clean and prepare all stuff for the new scape was the worse. 😅 This is just nothing compared to the first two days... 😉

@@FAAOAquascaping I agree. Dismounting and cleaning the stuff takes way more time than aquascaping itself. When rescaped old tanks I always thought that cleaning part takes too much time. This is 1600 litres! It surely needs 2 full days just to be ready to be scaped.

Sehr schönes, natürliches Layout; nur wenige verschiedene Pflanzenarten und kein unnatürliches Sammelsurium; schöner Übergang von der Sandfläche im Vordergrund zu dem Pflanz- bzw. Wurzelbereich durch den Flusskies ... einfach top!! 👍👍

As soon it gets matured after a few trimmings, this layout will be much different from what we see right now. The idea is just to go back to old traditional nature aquarium and have some space for livestock 😉

Wow 🤩 I love everything about it, the placement of the driftwood flows so nicely and the sand, then gravel is so aesthetically pleasing. Like a place you’d run across on a long stretch of riverbank. Can’t wait to see updates on this!!! ❤️

Thanks for used french soil Prodibio... Made in Japan but Prodibio is french I use that and its very very good soil. With fresh bactéries its thé must 😉😍

Thanks a lot Mike. This was tough project for a couple os hours, but to take it down and make it ready was a nightmare! It took me 2 days just to prepare and a few hours to make it happen.

Not really... With all stem plants in the back and different needs, it's better to stay away from the Discus. Altums might fit nicely in there 😉

It was an option too but I thought it was going to be hard to catch the fish before and after exhibition... I need to have all things in mind to make my life a bit easier, because this tank will be moved in the end of the month and come back.

@@dennisbinkhorst2039 so far everything is going great in what concerns to the pandemic. Really hope we don't have any last minute surprise... The tank will be ready till then 😉 but I think will be at its best shape in 6 months.

Long platform to walk around would be great, but well, I'm used to this. Were 3 days of intense exercise, mostly the first 2 days dismounting the old scape with almost 5 years... That was tough!

What is your experience with Novea Zealandiae and the Brasiliensis in no co2 setups?

Almost none because I use CO2 in most of my tanks.
