2 жыл бұрынHello everyone! The big collection video is finally complete! Took over 4 different days for filming/editing, and I am very happy to present my collection. I go into minor details about each of the series I have read and explain my opinions about each of the series as well! I hope you enjoy the video and my very shaky iPhone hands :^) Let me know what your favorite series are in my collection and let me know what I should try to collect next! @@ThatMangaDude Why not get volumes, even if out of order, but only put up the ones in that are in order? Then store the ones you have out of order away until you can get the volumes you need?

First, I want to say thank you so much for for taking the time to do this video! You have a great collection and I came away with a few titles that I'm really looking forward to reading. I have a pretty varied manga tastes, so it's really refreshing to see a collection that has a little bit of everything (including some of my favs). Really enjoyed this! :)

I fully understand the wont buy out of order mentality but with the shortages over the last few years this year I threw that idea out the window lol. Great collection btw!

currently watching all your videos (i’m obsessed) !! i’ve only watched the hauls and this collection video so far, but man your account just gives off such a nice vibe, definitely one i will go back to to watch videos when i’m not in a good mood. your collection is absolutely AMAZING. i love that you have astra lost in space, such an underrated series in my opinion. seeing all the unique things you have makes me want to go out of my comfort zone and get something i normally wouldn’t get! this video lowkey inspires me to make my own collection video, so i will probably come back to posting and do a beginning of 2023 collection video!! 🫶🫶 also i love when collection videos are long like this, i mush prefer when someone talks a little bit about each series instead of just saying the name then going to the next one. so glad i found your account😄

Amazing huge collection! I can confirm both FMA 03 and FMAB anime series are 🔥 Brotherhood is definitely more top tier bc it’s all straight from the source material but 03 is not without its merits

I love how I saw some LGBTQ+ (and romance) manga in there! A lot of people I see that have large collections only collect the more popular manga, or just kinda like some random like of brand one punch man mangas and it’s so funny 😂 i love your large collection by the way! I have 15 mangas and I’m definitely going to get a large collection one day! P. s I also 100% agree with the Gurren Lagann anime (it’s all over the place and kinda sucks…) the manga is okay, they didn’t do a good job doing the anime adaption:( And I was honestly looking forward too it but lost interest after like 11 episodes..

When I watch manga collection videos, I always look to see if they have Blue Exorcist because it's my favorite manga. I was super excited to hear you say it was in your top ten!! Anyways, awesome video and collection! Volume 28 looks absolutely amazing and a new anime season was announced if you hadn't heard!!!! W for Blue Exorcist fans

It was for a really long time, switched to Bakuman for a bit, but after a lot of thought, it’s easy for me to say that Shaman King is my favorite for sure 👌🏼

Impressive collection you have here! Are these custom made shelves? They're pretty narrow, which I like, and they display your collection neatly! 01:49:40 Oh, Maison Ikkoku absolutely gets better. It's known as a classic in the romcom genre, and it gets rather serious towards the conclusion. It's one of the best written manga I've ever read in my 30 years as a manga collector.

Case closed is so underrated, the early stories are scarier, now it's more comedic. Not as great as before, hope the author wraps up the Black organization story soon.

You've got quite a collection there. Thanks for the peek and brief info on the titles and mangakas. Incomplete, but there are a lot of titles I'm interested to read. Some of the hard-to-find titles have sky high prices, even the local prints here. Also, as you went through, I was like.. "OK, this is on my list....Gotta put it on the wishlist.... ..." One title switched from wait to buy ASAP: One Piece. I love that title. If I can get a set of Fight Ippo! on a whim, why don't I get One Piece next? :-)

Bro you have 1600+ volumes and you don't have the greatest mangaka of all time Naoki Urasawa's manga? HIGHLY recommend you check out MONSTER, 20th Century Boys, PLUTO and Asadora! You'll love it to death I assure you

A really good comedy Manga i would recommend is grand Blue, it is helarious. Berserk is alsof awesome but the Fun only really really Starts at volume 4

I agree with the TPN aswell! the ending in the anime was NOTHING like the manga (SPOILER) literally Emma lost her memories and was having such a hard time even spending time with Norman and Ray- I hate how they make a completely different end with them being all happy together when we know that they weren’t happy and Emma was struggling COMPLETELY to understand why and who these random kids were, it was kinda sad. I feel like we needed more… but it ended so quickly it felt like also I don’t remember but like the arc where Emma and I think Ray are stuck in that “fun house of never getting out” it felt so long and pulled out thought that was never going to end LOL!(Sorry for complimenting twice, I’m starting to finish the video.. XD)

Viz released Bobobo-bo very poorly. The "oneshot" includes chapters from Japanese volumes 9 and 10. Volume "1" is actually the Japanese volume 11. I believe Viz published through Japanese volume 15 (i.e., English volume 5), but none of the rest of the series was officially translated.

Ooh I completely forgot to mention that, but it's like the companion book of sorts! It has all of the illustrations from the covers to some of the in magazine stuff! I believe it came in the Bakuman box set, but I cannot confirm that. I got it at a used bookstore in my area!

Reading chainsaw man I can see why people like it, it has some good characters but I think it’s really overrated. Then again maybe that just cause people like forneverworld just praise it to stupid high expectations, i thought it was good but not anywhere near what the fans praise it to

I agree! I didn't really start to enjoy it until around the vol 7 mark, but I don't necessarily see this series as a masterpiece or even a fantastic one. Just a solid series overall.

Great video, I was wondering where do you buy your manga. I’m from Canada and have been collecting only the mainstream manga and I wanted to know if you have a site or store to buy it?

Thank you! I buy my manga from a variety of places including Barnes N Noble, BookOff, local comic book stores, and used book stores. I very rarely buy online because I have the most rotten luck with getting volumes messed up/damaged

Great video! I’m really interested in black torch but have heard opposing things… heard it’s just a short series but also heard it’s unfinished and doesn’t have an ending 😟 do you know which is true?

I can’t say for sure if it is unfinished, but it definitely is a short series with an ending! I happen to really like it despite the fairly abrupt ending. My guess is that it was cancelled so the creator had to rush the ending so it felt like there was a conclusion, and sure, it doesn’t end amazingly, but it’s still a good time and worth a read in my opinion 🔥

@@ThatMangaDude its pretty fun for about the first 8 volumes / 25 episodes of the anime (2nd season in production) after that the tension is immediately noticeable and just explodes into greatness, Edens Zero is probably one of the best if not the best underated new gen shonen

Hmmm, I wish I did... I had never heard of it so I decided to look it up and it seems super interesting. The only series that somewhat comes to mind is Banana Fish, but even then, they are not very similar :( I wish I could've been more help!

Most of my books are in fairly good condition! I don't bend the spines and I tend to only buy volumes that aren't damaged, but I do have some here and there that have rips or bent pages!
