I've done the same thing based on this video! I went out and bought all the officially licensed Versions , but I have never even seen the chopper/machete from Rambo 4 for sale, At any time, for any price! If someone has one for sale that's reading this, I'm interested... LOL There are literally thousands of rip off, offshore, foreign counterfeits.

Great Video Review. When I saw the movie when it came out I told myself that I was going to get one some day. Back then I was not happy with the cheap knockoffs that came out. Now that Master Cutlery Masterpiece series is available. I ordered the Rambo II knife and it will be just what I wanted.

Where is your video? I have never seen a razor sharp apex on a knife from a sharpening stone. Sounds like you would scuff the knife very badly. Video please?

they screwed up the sharpening stone pouch for the first blood sheathe.it sits high up on the sheath in the movie.the thumb guard on the knife almost touches the pouch in the movie.the sheath is cool but not movie accurate.i know the snap strap would be hindered by the pouch.the rambo 2 is accurate

Hi Phil. There are many different versions depending on what your after. If you looking to display my choice would be The Master Cutlery Masterpiece Rambo IV that's the first one I show in my video. If your looking to use definitely the United Cutlery Hibben IV is the most authentic and endorsed by Gil Hibben himself. Cheers

Well they say it's official and delivered with a certificate of authenticity, I've already bought products there like a Ten Ryu katana and it was a good one so... I think it might be good. It's kinda difficult for me to get anywhere else as I'm in Belgium and it's supposed to be illegal here LOL

I would say they were built for being showed instead of being used..You must remember hollow handle knives are not a strong as full tang..Use it like a knife and you wont have a problem.. Hit it with a lump of wood then im pretty sure the welds holding the blade will break..

@@Optimus_Prime. True but although it costs a great deal more the Randall made model 18 is as strong as a full tang. Many model 18 users have attested to its durability. It depends on how well made the Rambo knife is.

There are so many to choose from when searching fro these knives! I dont know who to trust or what to buy! Its frustrating! Bit this video did help me with spotting the ones that do not have the sharpening stone/rod. Those are just as good right? They just came before the Hollywood collectibles? Or is this a sign of a knock off? I really just want the exact 4 that you have LOL

Correct. The First Blood survival knife should have the sharpening stone on the front of the sheath & the Rambo First Blood Pt2 mission knife the sharpening rod. The easiest way is to ask the seller if they are the Master Cutlery "MASTERPIECE COLLECTION" You should have no problem finding 1 2 & 3 but i have never seen the Machete come up for bids since i bought mine in 2018. This one is very important as it shows the other 3 knives in the collection on the rear of the box. This is impossible to find. Good luck my friend.

All other seller wont show the details of the knife nor do they say it has the sharpening stones. I better grab these Master piece collections now while i can still find them.

@@Optimus_Prime. I have the Masterpiece collection Part 1 and 2 coming in today from Wise man trading. Ordered on WED night and its already delivering today via UPS! I also bought 2 MINI's Pt1 &2 from Discount cutlery...those haven't shipped yet. Im a bit disappointed in their service so far in comparison to Wise man TC. Oh well...Im just a couple hours away from opening my first Rambo knife collection ...ohhhhyyuuuuuur!!! I'll get Pt 3 and 4 next... just wish I could find part 4 like you mentioned. Might just have to get the knock off or the Hibben 4.

The idea Jimmy Lile had for the sawback was to cut through the fuselage of a plane if you survived a plane crash.. But realistically you could cut through small branches.

I display my standatd edition Rambo Knives. What's the point displaying official Signature replica Rambo Knives & when it comes to selling them off to someone else to enjoy & not getting top dollar cause the boxes are torn, knives faded etc. If you have collectables that will go up in time you store them away in a dark place. It's hows it's done my man.

Did watched all your Rambo knives videos 😃 I’m huge Rambo fun, I have Rambo 1,2,3 and 5 Heartstoppper HCG from Master Cutlery just can’t get the 4th one machette. There was a Standard version here in Australia that was sitting on ebay looking to be bought for a while but it looks like that has been sold as i can't find the listing anywhere. What's your opinion on the $2500 version using cpm 154 steel with the LILE makers mark, not the stainless steel version? I'm assuming as a collector, that might be on your list of must have.

No. Why would they be illegal? They are display knives. Throwing knives are illegal in different states and countries. You shouldn't have a problem buying these on line. Cheers

If you google what knives are banned in the UK you will notice the Rambo Knives dont fall into that category. Really comprehensive review of all the Rambo knives, enjoyed it very much. However the little bit of advice given at the end on sharpening, ie. using an "Anysharp" sharpener? Wow that is just the worst possible advice on knife sharpening. Those devices DESTROY your knife edge and eventually your knife. They take off a HUGE amount of metal with every stroke and won't sharpen the blade at the correct angle. they are TERRIBLE. When sharpening a knife you're supposed to take a tiny amount of metal off the edge, perhaps by using just a leather strop kit, not even a stone. If you can't sharpen your knife properly take it to a professional who will sharpen it for you.

How often are you going to sharpen your knife? I've used the Any Sharp once. It's given the apex a razor sharp edge and my knife is still going strong 4 years on. Nothing at all wrong with Sharpening your knives with these kind of sharpeners. The Smith's Pocket Pal & Lanksy Blade Medic Pocket Sharpener are another 2 i carry and millions highly recommend.

the Master Cutlery knives are cheap and nasty looking. The early United Cutlery knives are still collectable and rare.

Doesn't mean fake my man. The United Cutlery First Blood Knife from the 80's only had 12 teeth. All it means is that someone has finally produced a replica that showcases what the knife actually looked like in the movie.
