What a battle, legendary match for Kaiserslautern but not for attractive football. In today's football we would have had 10 against 7 in the end (or even less players - we didn't see any of the "many yellows" the commentator mentioned. When already booked before, tackling and kicking from behind like San José and Pineda was more than stupid even in those days when there was much more tolerance on hard tackles. The hand ball would have been a red card of course, the tacklings by Kaiserslautern right before Cunninghams kick in the ass and by Real just before the 3-0 could have been red cards as well (and would at least be yellow even though play went on).

Etwas erstaunlich für mich, dass die Helden hier noch eher die Alten waren, die ihren Karrierehöhepunkt eher schon hinter sich hatten (Geye, Bongartz, natürlich auch Hellström). Dagegen waren die kommenden Spitzenspieler Brehme und Briegel eher noch für die eine oder andere Unsicherheit gut.

Agustín, penoso. Hace poco leí una entrevista, en la que decía que en el real Madrid le ningunearon y que determinados entrenadores y directivos no le dejaron destacar. Viendo este partido dudo de sus palabras

Es algo muy habitual.....nunca se le reconoce el mérito a los jugadores del Madrid....el entorno está en permanente paranoia ..generando una disfunción de los triunfos ( entiéndase alejarse del triunfalismo o desatención de la euforia ) ... manteniendo una tensión que es difícil de llevar o entender para un profesional de élite...hoy supongo que no hay títulos de juego...no hay trofeos en las vitrinas...y que generar una fake news descomunales ante la ausencia virtual de títulos o mantener una tensión competitiva a Costa del bienestar de los jugadores o faltando sutilmente a los rivales encendiendo cualquier chispa que se le encuentre....más que entorno...una banda orquestada....desafinada para la salud y perjudicial para el medio ambiente...( Si se me permite ).... porque se comporta como un pirómano que enciende a posta una barbacoa...para provocar un incendio mediático. Pues no señores...no todo vale a cualquier precio. Por eso Agustín...y otros muchos jugadores de concha espina...no lo aguantan.

Agustín estaba en el Tenerife en las temporadas 91-92 y 92-93 cuando el Madrid no consiguió ganar dos ligas seguidas en en la última jornada ambas veces en Tenerife a pesar de depender de sí mismo. Agustín disfrutó de lo lindo de esas victorias, 3-2 y 2-0!
