We've been gone from there 20 years but I never heard that we could ice skate on the canal. Is that a new thing?

@@debra2700 It is. Sort of. It’s called the “Commercial Slip”, and is a replica of the original terminus that was dug not far from the original. If it’s cold enough to create stable ice, then it becomes a skating rink during the winter.

There’s no skating on the commercial slip part . Replica canals and bridges were built over original canals which the Aud sat on top of. Replica canals were built with refrigeration which when turned on in the winter freezes it just like a commercial ice rink

WOW the first 2 are garbage. No mention of the massive addition/overhaul to the Art Museum. Forest Lawn is NOT rural its urban. Did a great injustice to a city way better than portrayed here.
