I'm working on a 17 for my boss and can't seem to find the wire from the bow light to the consol , you have any insight on this ?

I am trying to restore a newly acquired 80' Montauk and LOVE your rear molded seat/cover. If you have any resources or techniques that would help in my attempt to replicate such a rear seat I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks, and great looking boat!

Very nice ! Are the batteries in the rear or did you put them under the consul ? I'm considering moving mine from the rear to under the consul.

Under the console for weight. But I ran a charge wire so I could add a third one under the stern seat. Potentially for an electric trolling motor

01:29 where did you get that bow roller from? Are you going to affix the anchor to it? Also where did you get the rear storage compartments? Did you custom fab that? Very interested in the details on this project if you are willing to share. Thanks. Great job!

Bow roller came with it just had it chromed. It is not stock as usually it is a Sampson post with running lights. As for the rear cover/seat I made it out of fiberglass. I purchased the two access hatches online. Makes for a great spot to store stuff and hides the cables and lines. I moved the stern running light from the hull side on to the top of the rear seat.

At 01:21 did u order that or did you build that? Does it have a livewell

I made it out of fiberglass. No live wells just access hatches as I may put a trolling motor battery in there.

Great job. How long start to finish? I've dreamed of owning a Montauk for years.

Thanks! A couple years....but reality was about 300 hours or more. Was a project for my home shop. I'm selling now I think as I have other projects...

Dogpound Ranch Ah, I wish you were closer. It’s a stunner and worth every penny of the asking price. I hope she finds a good home.
