Amdavadi people is hard to bargain but i think its fair price considering festival season otherwise you might got 100-200 discount. Even we dont get discount bcoz they know how badly we want it and all shop owners have unity and make fair profitable price equally.

Law garden is best place for navratri cloth shopping. Very busy market for wedding and navratri clothes. Ahmedabad become so developed bcoz of Modi government.

What is the moral of this video? In the luxurious shop with A/C , the cost of the kurthi is almost same. But there is no customer other than Phil. But see the rush in the street shops and the advantage is bargain. In the A/C shop, no provision for bargaining. So this is the backbone of Indian festivals. More than Spirituality ,the money circulation benefiting all the sections of the Society is important and our ancestors gave importance to that.

Yes, ancestors are always right. Honestly, I wish folks would take a step back and use their own intelligence rather than become subservient to their forefathers. Question, question and question. Plenty of intelligence around but many do not even question and follow blindly. Be curious, challenge and don't be afraid to deviate. If you believe in something, you should be comfortable challenging it to ensure you are Following it with full rationale. Otherwise, what is the point? You challenge in your working lives but when it comes to faith, it's a done deal. Lol

It was smart of Phil to ask locals about how it works, price range, and where the street shops are located. 5:45 it’s sad when Phil knows more about Navratri and the 9 incarnations of Goddess Durga than some of these people.
